I ordered an item which was listed "in stock" on their website. Five days later, I received an email saying the item was actually back ordered and wouldn't ship until April 15th, a month and a half after the date of purchase. When I requested to cancel the shipment, the service rep said I couldn't cancel a shipment that I already received--even though she just explained to me that I item wouldn't be shipping for 45 days. She ended up submitting a cancellation request, but couldn't guarantee that the charge would be refunded because the order may have already shipped from the manufacturer. I should be able to find out in another 5 days whether the cancellation was granted. In summary, it was extremely inconvenient. And it sounds like they charge your card without actually having shipped any product--not standard practice for reputable online stores! I would only order from the them as last resort. |

ATG stores is the worst company I have ever done business with. The merchandise arrived late, two weeks after I ordered it. The handles weren't right for me so I called to arrange a return. Got the biggest run-around I have ever experienced. It's taken 8 calls so far and no closer to getting my return arranged. ATG says that they will not process the return until the manufacturer authorizes it. This is despite ATG's advertised 'no hassle' return policy which my purchase clearly falls within. When I pressed ATG on why they would hold up my return based on their problems with the manufacturer, ATG rep told me that they are only a 'middle man', and that my return might not be accepted!! By the way, each call involves very very long hold times, obviously to make the customer want to give up, and I also was hung up on twice. I was also promised call backs many times, never got one. Disputing this now with my credit card. |

Excllent choice of door hardware for my home improvement project. They didn't have high end hardware, but I figured that out pretty quickly and what they did offer was in my price range anyway. Called customer service about returns and they were fast and helpful. |

The order process was direct and simple. Answering the survey on a laptop with no mouse was difficult and awkward. |
