(Edited December 11th by dayron) Purchased a Cisco 2950 48 port switch. I recieved the European model. They paid to have it shipped back and offered a full refund. I took the refund and purchased elsewhere because I needed the switch right away. It took several calls to get full credit, but I did get the credit as promised. Though I wound up not buying anything from them, the delivered on their promised credit. |

Great service. Emailed them for the first time with a question about product and they were back to me in less than 10 minutes with the answer. I think we will do more business with this firm; refreshing to talk with people who actually KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT THE PRODUCT THEY ARE SELLING. |

I ordered HP 380x on 3/25 for $160. They call and ask me to cancel the order because it is not in stock. I checked the website after they called and it is still is stock but with a price of $220. Now I know that typos ocurr, but they should have told me truth about it. I would have probably bought it at $220 (still a very good deal), but now I have had to order from somewhere else, losing a day in the meantime. Retailer Response (03/31/2004): Customer order for 2 days air delivery and product was out of stock, then we called customer and he said can't wait and canceled order. It does not have anything to do with the price change. |

I ordered 7 Cisco 1231G Wireless Access Points and power injectors from them, I was able to call and talk to them with no problems. They shipped my order the same day. I couldn't ask for anything more! |

My only suggestion would be to enhance the way shipping is presented and have the site calculate estimated delivery date using stock status for each shipping option. Instead, site listed shipping options as UPS Red, UPS Blue, FedEX Priority, etc. I had to open a 2nd window to ups and fedex to see what each of those were and plug in the zipcodes to estimate when my product would be delivered. A saturday delivery option would be nice too. On a positive note, the price of my product was great!! |

Have bought a significant amount of Cisco equipment for our large enterprise network from these guys over the past six months and everything arrived very fast, email notifications were prompt and useful, web site easy to use and fast, and we found the pricing to be compeitive against "perferred" pricing from other vendors. I had one RMA due to a Cisco defect and it was handled promptly to my satisfaction. Highly recommended. |

(Edited February 15th by Papa_Whiskey) Update: Reducing rating to 2 stars due to problems with purchase. Had a question during setup, so I called Cisco. Gave them the router serial #, but was told the router warranty had expired. I told them it was new, & sealed in the box when I received it, but that made no difference. I called Lanstreet.com, and was told it was a German distribution router. It never said that on the website! They said I could return it for a full refund, but don't want the hassle. Won't order from them again! |

Merchant had a survey pop-up that supposedly was optional but didn't have a functional close button. Didn't really have a choice as to whether I wanted to take the survey or not since that was the only way "through" to the order confirmation window. The "close window" link on the survey didn't work. I'm running Firefox 1.0.8 under Fedora Core 4 (Linux) with all updates applied. |
