It's fast and the display is a real surprise and a treat, sharp graphics, text and excellent color rendition. The wireless card performs perfectly and will pick up networks easily. It's a shocking bargain for the price (689 for the 15", 40gb, wireless). I wouldn't expect to do any graphics work with this machine as the vid is ok for viewing but not for editing pics, it would be great for data and word processing. It has P3 1.13GHZ processor that runs faster than my Compaq 2.7GHZ Celeron desktop with Windows XP Home when running MS Office XP. It came with 128MB ram, upgrade it to 256MB and with a noticeable speed. It feels durable, well built, fullsize keyboard, lightweight. Good value for the price @ ebuysuperstore.com. For those who are looking for lightweight, daily use, on the go type Notebook with exceptional value, this model is what I recommend.

The screen is lovely, the boot-up time is phenomenal, and the integration between the operating system (Mac OS X) and the bundled applications (iTunes, iDVD, iMovie, iPhoto, Garageband etc.) is just amazing. In short, just what I'd expect from Apple.

adam1locke - (06/27/2009) I have learned to play around the faults this machine has, but it is rather annoying will bot be buying another toshiba again. Overall I know what the processor is capable of, and the wirless nic card works good speed is ok but with, windows 7 the Internet browser kept blinking making the internet experience very annoying.

yusefali32 - (06/25/2009) Despite all the bad I used to hear about Vista I haven't had a single issue with it on this laptop. Love the black case and silver keys. Having a number pad is a great help when doing homework. Looks more expensive than it is.

iijoanna - (06/24/2009) I bought this machine after a friend bought one for her trip to Norway and love it. It is small and easy to put in your purse for travel and weighs on 2.5 lbs so you don't feel weighted down. It comes with its own foam-like case & a microfiber cleaning cloth. The keyboard is small but you will get use to it easily. I've used Skype on it out in southeastern Utah when my cell phone died and it was awesome. The quality is superior than expected and I have dropped the machine a few times on carpeted floors and it still works. I used this machine on a trip from Seattle to Houston twice and it performance was excellent especially when I just need a few minutes of "borrowed" wifi to get city/traffic/Starbucks/detour/map information. I have had the machine since February 2009 and am still not disappointed - it has more than paid for itself. I bought mine from Amazon.com, btw. :)
