Given the huge number of laptops out there I was very pleased to be able to dial in to the exact battery I needed for my 3+-year-old Toshiba Satellite. Not only were there multiple choices for capacity but the Laptop Battery Store offered prices that were 30% lower than a number of their competitors in an easily-shopped format. Their shipping calculator made choosing the right option a snap, with the shipping cost provided at the beginning and not the end of the checkout process. Their warranty is in line with the rest of the battery retailers out there so I was comfortable placing an order for a replacement that wasn't coming from the laptop manufacturer. All in all the shopping experience was quick and easy... I'm sure I'll be back for my next replacement laptop battery. |

Unfortunately after having placed my order (and received confirmation!) I never received the product. Upon emailing the merchant I was told that it was "probably" my credit card. Mind you, there is no issue with my card, I quickly bought the laptop batttery somewhere else. My problem is that I did not receive a notification, or anything telling me that my order was in fact NOT being shipped. This type of poor communication is simply unprofessional. |

I placed my order on a Friday and received an email on the following Monday stating my item was back-ordered and hopefully will ship the following Monday. The same day I received the back-order notice, I went on their website to find my item was in stock. I then called the merchant and she mentioned there is sometimes a delay on updating the website. So, if they ship this Monday, I probably won't receive my order for another week. It will be interesting if item performs as advertised. Only time will tell. |

Need to fix javascripting when checking out, the address information defaults to international, but doesn't switch to domestic until you click the continue button and have to re-enter all information, but now with the domestic information available. |
