I looked all over for the Zenith (LG) DTT901 digital TV converter box, and I found it at Legendmciro. This converter box received the best reviews I've found, from both pro's and customers, but the product seemed to be discontinued. I received the product within four business days, complete with the remote control (the battery inside was dead) and user manual. While the box was quite a bit worn, the product itself looked in good shape, and it works very well. The reception with just rabbit ears from the basement is crystal clear, and we really like the program guide feature (not as good as satellite/cable, but better than analogue TV). I also like how I can enlarge the picture with one touch from the remote control. I'd definitely buy from this company again. |

I completed my order in under five minutes I left another site with an equal priced IPOD touch because the payment piece was too difficult. Thank you for being quick and easy and for having your phone number handy incase of questions. |

Katrina in customer service was most helpful in resolving a part incompatibility problem arising from valid customer confusion. While the model number of the graphics card in general was compatible with the motherboard, the specific part number was not. The motherboard manufacturer had told the customer that any graphics card with that model number should work; that was not the case. The first graphics card caused an error in bios at boot. It was returned as bad. The second card had a sticker specifying it was only intended for a specific application. By the time it arrived, the time to return for a refund had elapsed. Katrina was able to make an exception to allow the second card to be returned unopened for a refund. Her understanding and pleasant 'can-do' attitude made this situation as painless as possible under the circumstances. I will continue to use Legend Micro for future purchases online. |

The distributor Legend Micro has gone above and beyond resolving a faulty board issue, including allowing a return due to my getting another board locally rather than wait for the replacement. The customer service at Legend Micro was extremely helpful and timely. I emailed the company with a concern about the product I ordered and within a few hours I received a response. They were very helpful to me in getting me the help I needed to fix the problem. I would definitely use Legend Micro again to buy electronics. |

Who ever heard of asking for the issuing bank's telephone number as a check on a credit card purchase? What good is asking me to rate this merchant when my order was just completed 15 seconds ago? Why not wait until I actually GET my merchandise? In order to rate this merchant Average, I have to click Good and THEN click Average; I can't just click Average. |

Dealing with Legend Micro has been an absolute nightmare. Customer service lies repeatedly claiming that the problem doesn’t exist because they can’t replicate it and that I ordered a refurbished monitor. Nothing on the webpage I ordered from or my invoice indicated the monitor was refurbished. In any case a 1 year warranty was provided with the refurbished Samsung 2493HM LCD monitors they sell so I sent it for repair or replacement. They send me the same defective monitor back 19 days later! The monitor continues to turn off and the on screen settings change, without anyone touching them, when a nearby cell phone transmits. It’s almost useless and now they are refusing to give me the new monitor I ordered or honor the warranty they provide on their factory reconditioned monitors.
Looks like they respond regularly to reviews of their problems. Wonder what kind of excuses they’ll have for this one. Retailer Response (09/23/2009): Unit purchased was clearly advertised as Factory Reconditioned. You have used this product was almost a year with no problems. Upon receipt of your unit for service with extensively tested it. Cell phones or any other RF equipment does not affect it at all. Under no circumstances should anybody do business with this company. I called costumer service to ask a question regarding my shipping address. When the representative picked up the phone I could tell right away by the tone of her voice that this was going to be interesting. Then as we are working through the question she told me to be quiet, because she was trying to answer my question! The price might be cheap but the abuse is not worth it!!! |

I had an overnite order that they had shipping to a different address. Luckily it is in the same City where we contacted UPS to meet the driver to get the package. It was an urgent need, otherwise it wouldn't have been overnite. Now I just hope that LegendMicro.com will credit the UPS overnite charge of $43.67. I am not sure I will use again for anything urgent. |

I purchased a 40" LCD HDTV from LegendMicro.com. It was delivered by UPS Freight on a pallet. The package was damaged and a claim was submitted to UPS. Come to find out LCD TVs that are over 26" are NOT to be shipped by UPS Freight as they are not covered for damage according to their tariff. When I received the determination from UPS I contacted LegendMicro.com about the issue. I was told that I somehow damaged the item and they would do nothing about it. I purchased a $900 tv from them that they shipped by the wrong method as it was not covered if damaged, and they refused to stand behind their product. When I called the company they would not let me talk with a manager or even give me a name. They would only communicate by email. I have filed complaints with the BBB, OH State Attorney General's Office, KY State Attorney General's Office (my home state), the FTC Protection Division. This is a merchant not to be trusted and I would not recommend to anyone. Retailer Response (06/29/2009): All Large Screen units could be shipped with USPS Freight on pallet, the proof of it - UPS accepted this shipment! It is much safer then UPS Ground. The problem is: you did not report the damage to us upon delivery. You have called us 37 DAYS after delivery. UPS damage report indicated that upon delivery NO damage was reported, than item was loaded to another vehicle and transported somewhere else. As we learned someone filled damage claim, we called you to ask what happened – You simply hang up on us. Very unusual for someone who received Damaged Unit. We have our own umbrella insurance which covers all out going shipments!!! We can not file claim for damage 37 days after delivery… We presented all facts to BBB and Attorney General Office - All claims were closed in OUR favor. |
