(Edited April 28th by vadimk111) The monitor was described as "demo with direct 3-year warranty from Samsung". What arrived was a beat-up 4 year old monitor with 90-day warranty from Legend Micro. The color tint was horrible. They replaced it with another, comparably beat up unit (I paid $40 shipping for the privelege), and lost the DVI cable in the process. There was no color cast this time, but the brightness was not quite there. So, if you want a "demo" piece that probably came back off a 3-year lease, by all means, they're great. If you want a piece with 3-year manufacturer's warranty and are happy instead with a filthy piece of paper saying "90 Days Warranty", they will satisfy your every wish. Needless to say, they refused to take it back or to issue price adjustment, accusing me of extortion. This type of "customer service" may be standard fare in the 3rd world, but I have higher expectations. Update: item advertised DEMO with SAMSUNG warranty, sold me a WELL USED item w/90d wr instead and they think it's ok. Retailer Response (04/28/2008): Dear Customer You have purchased Demo Samsung 213T from our e-bay division (e-bay item # 140169857992 it was advertised with 3 Year Warranty. We confirm we will serve the unit for 3 Years. Even though we did not find any problems with fisrt unit you returned we replaced it for your satisfaction (we did not charge you a peny for it). Now you are trying to get price adjustment for the second unit with 'brightness not quite thereā which you have used for 2 month? How can price adjustment resolve brightness problem? When you received the unit you did not report any problems..With all due respect we can not negotiate on past orders. Was disappointed when one item arrived with a defective power supply. But I wrote and described the problem, and received a reply in just a couple of hours confirming that a new power supply would be shipped. Would appreciate better quality control on refurbished items, but the customer service response to my problem was excellent. |

My original order was for a refurbished 22" flatscreen monitor. It was damaged in shipment and I never even saw it. This company reshipped a BRAND NEW MONITOR to replace it, even before they got the broken one back. This is an excellent, reliable company and I would refer ANYONE to them. |
