DO NOT USE SELLER I placed an order with this company that listed the item as INSTOCK. My card was charged and after 2 weeks, I called them about delivery. The girl on the phone said she'd call them and send me an email. Before I hung up, I had the email saying "Thank you for your inquiry. We spoke with the manufacturer today and were just informed that the manufacturer is experiencing inventory constraints. Because of this all orders are on hold for shipping. At this point we cannot quote a ship date. If you would like to cancel the order please let us know. We truly apologize for any inconvenience that this delay might have caused." Total form letter. So they knew they didn't have it in stock, never updated their website and charged my card anyway. I called back to cancel my order. She said "send us an email". I sent that email and said I was contacting my CC company. I got back "...If you proceed with a chargeback it will delay you receiving a refund." It's still listed as INSTOCK |

If the item is in stock and packed well and ships fast. It will be another of the reasons I love shopping on the internet- Disappointment... They did not have the discontinued item in stock when they listed it on sale. Getting my account credited with the refund took way too much work and too much time. |

Would never buy anyplace else. By way of contrast, I ordered a chandelier from another internet company. They charged my card immediately...two months later, no chandelier. I am still waiting for my refund! Will only shop LightingbyGregory.com in the future! |

I am a decorator...I loved this site and definitely use it again. I have however ordered two seperate lights...the second shipment has yet to notify me when arrival time will be. I was delighted with the first.! |

After receiving two items that were considerably different than what I anticipated based on the picture and descriptions on the site, I considered returning them. But have you checked out the return policy? A 25% restocking fee?!! Plus, it's a complete hassle to jump through their return "hoops." I felt stuck with no recourse. |

Tried to use the LBG coupon for 20% but the fella told me that it didnt work. My fault, shoulda read the coupon it says its only on select brands. But he was nice enough to offer me a 15% discount for my trouble. Fan was here within the week and I couldnt be happier. i plan to come back for my bathroom lighting this summer. |

Salesman was very helpful. All the other websites i called were discontinued on the product i want, he explained to me that they all get from the same place so no website would have my product. unlike the other stores though, he spent 20 minutes guiding me through the site till i found a light i might even love more, for less. wouldnt go anywhere else for lighting. think they sell fans too. |

LBG has been great as far as customer service, however....the products we ordered had been packed incorrectly and parts were wrong. Also, the remote and the flush mount kits arrived later than the fans. The receivers for the remotes were not in the box. We had to call Monte Carlo as well as LBG for two different problems with the order. All in all, it was frustrating. We realize this is Monte Carlo's issue, but perhaps LBG should insist that someone double check their orders. When you are in the middle of a remodel, you really don't want to have ceiling fans be the reason you cannot finish all the electrical work. We are still waiting on the 3rd fan we ordered...we're nervous. |

I order lighting with regularity for my business and I only use LBG. Their prices are spectacular, their customer service people are always quick and friendly. I couldnt give a higher reveiw if i tried. They are the best of the best, and ive used em all. |

My shopping experience in Lighting By Gregory online store turned out to be a neverending nightmare. The items I ordered online arrived broken (both pieces). And now it is taking the company over THREE weeks to issue me a return label, so that I can mail the two lights back. It looks like it may take them three more weeks (at the least) to issue me a refund. The customer services is horrible, and that's to put it kindly. It's impossible to get a hold of them. When you finally reach someone, they appear to be very uninterested in what you have to tell them as well as uncaring about solving your problem. You are better off talking to the wall. Needless to say, I will never return to this store. If you have extra nerve cells to spare or wish to experience unforgettably disgusting treatment, place an order with them now! But if you are like me and want to have a head-ache free and, possibly, pleasant shopping experience, shop elsewhere! |
