LBG has been great as far as customer service, however....the products we ordered had been packed incorrectly and parts were wrong. Also, the remote and the flush mount kits arrived later than the fans. The receivers for the remotes were not in the box. We had to call Monte Carlo as well as LBG for two different problems with the order. All in all, it was frustrating. We realize this is Monte Carlo's issue, but perhaps LBG should insist that someone double check their orders. When you are in the middle of a remodel, you really don't want to have ceiling fans be the reason you cannot finish all the electrical work. We are still waiting on the 3rd fan we ordered...we're nervous. |

I order lighting with regularity for my business and I only use LBG. Their prices are spectacular, their customer service people are always quick and friendly. I couldnt give a higher reveiw if i tried. They are the best of the best, and ive used em all. |

My shopping experience in Lighting By Gregory online store turned out to be a neverending nightmare. The items I ordered online arrived broken (both pieces). And now it is taking the company over THREE weeks to issue me a return label, so that I can mail the two lights back. It looks like it may take them three more weeks (at the least) to issue me a refund. The customer services is horrible, and that's to put it kindly. It's impossible to get a hold of them. When you finally reach someone, they appear to be very uninterested in what you have to tell them as well as uncaring about solving your problem. You are better off talking to the wall. Needless to say, I will never return to this store. If you have extra nerve cells to spare or wish to experience unforgettably disgusting treatment, place an order with them now! But if you are like me and want to have a head-ache free and, possibly, pleasant shopping experience, shop elsewhere! |

I purchased two PLC-1071SN sconces. The package shows up and there's two eviscerated boxes inside so they could fit them both in the same box. It turns out the sconces don't even match the pictures! The pictures show a 5'x10' sconce, but these are square. So I submit a web request. Nothing happens. I call, and they say I'll receive a replacement and a return slip within a week. A week passes. Nothing. I call again, now they say I need to wait a month. I do receive the return slip, and I wait a month for the replacement. Nothing. Then I start asking for a refund. Two phone calls, an email, and they keep saying they have to hear from the supplier. WTF. I threaten a chargeback and finally they refunded my money. FYI: In order to accomplish anything with Customer Support, first you have to use their web form to submit a request (which they'll ignore), then you have to follow up with a phone call a day later. If you just call, they require you to submit a web request first. |

My original order included the fan blades, but did not arrive with my shipment. When I contact Lighting by Gregory, they said they would have to contact the Mfg. to ship the blades out. Then I discover the fan itself is defective and does not turn - after hiring a handyman for installation. I contact Lighting by Gregory by phone, I'm told I can only communicate my issue through their email system. I send an email, the reponse I receive is that I have to contact the mfg. directly for an evaluation of whether or not the product is defective. I do contact the mfg. and speak with a helpful representative who listens attentively to my story. He tells me the product is defective. I email (again) Lighting by Gregory, explaining that the Representative told me the product was defective. Two days later I receive a response - Lighting by Gregory tells me the mfg. asked me to discard the fan - I paid $238.00 for it - and I can choose whether I want a replacement fan or a credit. |

Do not use this company. For nearly three months I have been trying to get my money back from them after the lighting fixtures they sent me did not fit. They agreed to take the items back, if I agreed to a 25% restocking fee (I did). I returned the items, they received them, and still months later and after dozens of communications, no refund! Stay away! |

Completely dropped the ball on my order. More like they forgot about it. They did offer a discount after I decided that the whole thing was taking too long. Over a month now, still waiting on the promised refund... I guess they forgot about that too. |

I TRIED TO ENTER THE WEEKEND 16% DISCOUNT CODE OF LBG and it didn't show up on my order. Also, I am not sure I am getting the birdseye maple blades as that didn't show up in my order confirmation--though the item number is correct. Lois |

By phone, I ordered Lightolier recessed light trims in two different finishes, which were supposedly in stock. In a timely manner, I received the trims in only one of the finishes. When I called to ask about the other items, the LBG rep said that they weren't in stock and wouldn't be for 45 days. Since I needed the trims for a job in a new house with a move-in date 30 days away, I canceled the rest of the order. Two weeks passed and, surprisingly, the items arrived—30 days before I was told they were available—great, except that I had made other plans in the meantime, thinking the order was canceled. When I called LBG about returning the supposedly canceled trims, the nightmare experience really began. Bottom line: I wasted hours on the phone, was basically called a liar by the LBG rep, and received a comically non-sensical rationale for LBG's refusal to take back the items (unopened in their original packaging).
