Black North Face Denali Jacket

Strengths:

Pit vents, fine looking and light weight

Weaknesses:

not really warm, not comfortable

Posted Apr 1, 2008 - I heard a lot of good reviews on this jacket. However, after I put it on and face the San Francisco night cold weather, I am disappointed. It's not as warm as others' claim and the under-arm vent make me feel discomfort. I paid $100 for my black one and still thought it's over-price. Although I don't like it, I still want to mention the pit vents design is unique and maybe useful for some others. I also like the looking. The weight is light comparing to my other jacket with the similar protection. In summary, I would think the Denali jacket should only be valued as around $70-$80.

North Face Denali

Strengths:

Super Warm, Zip in Compatible, Pit Vents, Extra Pockets, Water Repellent

Weaknesses:

None so far, but I do wish it fit just a slight bit more snug, tends to bunch up sometimes when wearing it under the shell.

Posted Nov 20, 2007 - I don't think you can go wrong with the North Face Denali. If you are going to be somewhere cold it will be your best friend. While it doesn't keep the wind out, it keeps you nice and toasty on a cool day and like a portable heater when coupled with a North Face shell. There are tons of colors to choose from too so if you are into style as well as utility you won't be left wanting. Get yours now!!
