Strengths:

comfort, excellent tracking ability

Weaknesses:

rubber on right side of mouse will deteriorate with heavy use, glides glued to mouse will slip off with heavy use

Posted Oct 8, 2005 - this is the 3rd mouseman dual optical that i've owned. i was very pleased with the purchase of my first one and i was very sad to see that it was discontinued. the only reason it was necessary to buy this one was that i had lended it to a friend who's computer destroyed the mouse. when i saw that someone still had some in stock i ordered it without hesitation. i could have gotten a newer mouse but i searched this one out because of my positive previous experience with it.

Posted Mar 29, 2005 - Of all the mice I have tried over the years the Logitech MouseMan Dual Optical Mouse is in my opinion the best. It has a very comfortable fit and performs well. Have had one at work for over 2 years and couldn't be happier with its performance.

I've had 4 other optical mice, none are even close ...

Strengths:

Smooth and accurate, perfect feel. Solid, nothing rattles, does not feel cheap or breakable.

Weaknesses:

None

Posted Feb 8, 2004 - I've had 4 other optical mice, none are even close, feels like a part of my hand. It has all the features needed for a gaming mouse. Great buy, if you can still find them.

Posted Sep 18, 2003 - I am very happy with the mouse. I alternate it with a Microsoft mouse just so I don't forget how much better it is. After about 8 months, the pads on the bottom are starting to wear off, but as much as I use the mouse that's to be expected. GOOD VALUE!

Strengths:

Great feel, great price, perfect for large hands

Weaknesses:

Less buttons then Microsoft Explorer 3.0, could have better color scheme.

Posted Jun 19, 2003 - Owned cordless version for a year and now buying corded version of this. Cordless mice are not great for gaming and have extra battery weight. Fits my large hands perfectly and I have less hand strain compared to standard shaped mouse. Thumb button is as useable as left click, and more useable than right click buttons on most mice -numbers of buttons doesn't matter if poor placement. My second choice was Microsoft Explorer 3.0 which has 1 more button, but costs $10 more and doesn't have shape of Logitech.

The concaveness on the right side of the mouse is ...

Strengths:

This is my baby, soooooo precise. I love it till death due us part. No skipping, just smooth, perfect for gaming, and awesome for designing graphics on the CPU.

Weaknesses:

absolutely none

Posted Feb 20, 2003 - The concaveness on the right side of the mouse is different than most mice, it provides a better grip, and the switch was at first a little uncomfortable. But after using it for a day or two, it feels like the mouse molded to my hand. Placement of the button for the thumb is ideal. Great Job Logitech!!!

works GREAT! haven't had one single problem with i ...

Strengths:

smooooooth, no skips or jumping around AT ALL. never. it moves EXACTLY where you want it to. without fail. precise. great for games.

Weaknesses:

Could not get 2 mice buttons, specifically the middlemouse button, to work simultaneously for my games. Definate downfall, still working on it.
