Strengths:

Clear Sound and good mike ...compact and looks great.Great Value for Money

Weaknesses:

Prolong usage can hurt your ears and inconvenient for people who already are wearing glasses

Posted Mar 29, 2005 - its worn from behind and rested on ears like glasses unlike the usual headset.The headset does have exceptional voice pickup and sound quality (for gaming) however. It is just a bit uncomfortable with glasses.

cheap and great

Strengths:

low cost

Weaknesses:

relatively desecent quality. low volume from microphone without microphone boost.

Posted Oct 6, 2005 - I paid $13 from buy.com for this headset. The asound quality is great for internet chatting and descent for internet gaming. It has a volume adjust and microphone mute switch. About the only adjustment I had to make on my system was to turn the microphone boost on in the volume control panel.

Excellent hedset; incredible value

Strengths:

Good mic and headphone quality, volume control and mute are nice features; nice long coard,

Weaknesses:

if not adjusted just right the headset can become uncomfortable

Posted Sep 24, 2005 - The value for this thing is amazing. I got it for $5 after the PriceGrabber review bonus. As mentioned earlier sound quality is excellent; the headset looks really cool too!! :) It could be more comfortable but for the price I can't complain. I definitely reccomend this headest- it is one of the best for a bargin price.

Good bang for the buck

Strengths:

light, precise boom mic, in-line control.

Weaknesses:

Not foldable, not for glass-wearing users

Posted Sep 4, 2005 - Lightweight, comfortable and reliable headset. Mic can be positioned conveniently; earpads are soft and removable. Cable lenght allows for enough movement away from the PC. If you wear glasses, you may want to consider other over-the-head alternatives. Overall, nothing less that you'd expect from Logitech.

I think this is a good buy. Another great Logitech ...

Strengths:

great price, clear sound, very light and comfortable, volume control on the cable

Weaknesses:

can't adjust the size

Posted Jun 3, 2005 - I think this is a good buy. Another great Logitech product. Sound is very clear and I like the mic a lot. It would be better if it's size adjustable. Perfect size for my husband but it's too big for me. The good thing is that the ear mug keeps the headphone stay on my ear so it didn't fall off. Overall, I recommend this product.

Strengths:

Voice reception comes through clear. The audio is clear and the remote makes volume adjustments and the mic off button is a plus. Good length of wire extension if you want to sit far back.

Weaknesses:

The ear phones hurt your ear after 4 hours or more of continuous use. You cant lean year head against the back of your chair because the back part of the headphones get in the way.

Posted Jan 8, 2005 - Over all its a good product. I've used it for a little over a month and its still in great shape. THe mic comes through clear and I could even use it for computer voice commands and its comfortable for limited use.

Posted Nov 16, 2004 - As I opened the package I found the Logitech Extreme Headset neatly packed into the plastic casing. I examined the different parts to it and felt the moveable parts. The headset felt really solid. The microphone extension is made of a metal compound which is a really nice feature if you like to move around the microphone for adjustment. The sound can be worked on alittle, but for a headset this cheap who cares. Overall I give this product 5 stars.

Strengths:

Great Sound, Noise Canceling mic works well, and pics up my voice well. In line must and volume is handy. Fairly comfortable. Price is unbeatable. Ordered it from ZipZoomFly Sunday, got to me wed.

Weaknesses:

Not size adjustable. Foam covers make ears a bit hot.

Posted Oct 23, 2004 - Great price, good sound, excellent mic. Doesn't work well with glasses...but i don't wear any. It's not size adjustable, but at this price, I'd rather have performace over comfort. Overall Great Value, no regrets. Logitech always makes great products.

Strengths:

You can't feel it on your head. It is very light and comfortable. Long cable. Good sound.

Weaknesses:

None that I can think of.

Posted Apr 14, 2004 - It a very good pair of earphones and stays on your head even when you are putting your head every which way possible. The are that light that you can not feel them. They are comfortable, but your ears while hurt a bit a first. I am very happy with this purchase.

Posted Aug 30, 2004 - Wanted these for my next Unreal 2004 LAN party. These work great. They are light and comfortable. Very easy to hear the other party. Because they are not closed (cups) you can hear the room noise. That is good when the wife is calling but can make it harder to hear during a loud LAN party.

Posted Jul 24, 2006 - maybe I got a bad unit, but what I got was terrible. mic wa especially AWFUL. almost non-functional (I almost had to put it into my mouth and shout to get it to pick up anything, and then it still cut off lots of syllables. very frustrating.

Wonderful product

Worth the price

Strengths:

good quality, good price

Weaknesses:

doesn't pickup sounds from far, unlike my earlier boom mike, so you can only use it while wearing on the head.

excellent headset

Posted Oct 7, 2005 - I just ordered another of these.i ran over the cord with my chair unfortunately.others saying bass sucks probably dont have good sound cards.I use an audigy 2 zs (set on headphones)sound is incredible and the mic works fine with soundblaster.and this is the most comfortable headset ive found to date and i play ut2004 for about 3 hours a night.I bought a set of traditional headphones with mic u know the ones that have the foam covers on them and my right ear goes numb after a bout 15 minutes so i went back to these.
