Posted Jul 14, 2004 - I would rate this a 4/5 because the audio could have been better, but it's worth the money. I would buy this, but if you have the cash to throw away I would buy a better one with better noice cancelation.

Logitech PC Headset

Posted Aug 15, 2005 - This is a good pc headset for internet chat and gaming. The voice is clear on the recieving end. However, it's not confortable for me who wears glasses. I'd have to readjust a lot because either the headset or my glasses messes up the alignment. Also, I cannot rest my head back against my chair or look up much due to the headset's design or it'll mess up my adjustsments and makes it worse for me since I wear glasses. I like the design, but I'd have to stick with the old fashioned over-the-top headsets or earbuds. Other than that, I highly recommend it for those who don't wear glasses.

Posted Apr 10, 2005 - Excellent sound quality. Cheap price. Great value for money. Long cord hence long reach. Finishing and looks are good. Headphone cushion is very comfortable. The headset can be worm for long hours without hurting the ears. Good for gaming too. Has volume control and mute control which makes it more valued for the price. Microphone sensitivity is bery good. The cushion provided with the microphone gives a good and sophisticated look to the headset. Will recommed to my firends to buy this headset.

Posted Aug 11, 2003 - Great sound for the $13 purchase price. The in line volume control and handy microphone mute is quite welcome. There are also included 4 different set of color plates for the earpieces. 9 feet of cable gives you plenty of room to boogie or have it sneak around the back and over your desk comfortably. But thats about all thats comfortable. The back wraparound headrest is too long for anyone. This isn't a huge problem, as it still stays in place, but this means you cant rest your head on your chair while wearing this. The microphone fuzzy cover to cut down on ambient noise and breathing deteriorated and tore apart after a month of use. Pity, but I picked up another cover at work. Quality budget headset, worth the $13 for a good headset or even a pair of headphones for portable audio (although you look like a dork with your microphone while walking around in public)

Posted Jun 9, 2004 - I bought this headset primarily for online gaming. Both me and my friend own one and love it. You can use voice chat in any game by using a program like teamspeak or even AIM that has voice chat capabilities. You can also use it with games that have built in support for voice chat. Me and my friend play Splintercell Pandora Tomorrow and in the game spies can hack the enemies communications and you can listen in on your opponent that has a headset. I have also tried some voice recognition. Although the technology is new and has some bugs, your voice it picked up pretty well. The only thing that I can say is bad about it is I am not sure how long it will last. After two months its in pretty good shape. But if you can get it online for 15 to 20 bucks it is an excellent deal. If you play games with your friends online then this is a must have. It is the headset you can get for gaming.

Posted May 8, 2004 - convience, easy to plug-in and play, very useful, got all 4 colors, i thought it only comes with 1 color. logitech has very nice and useful product, i got my wireless duo, webcam, headset /w microphone all from logitech. very useful! highly recommand.

Posted Aug 25, 2004 - I looked at plenty of headsets, and this headset was primarily going to be used for internet chatting, and ocassional listening to music. For the price this is a great headset for chatting, gaming and ocassional music listening. If its audiophile sound quality you're after, get a specific pair of headphones, but if not this mic/headset is great for hands free talking or gaming communication, I don't know why you would want a seperate mic, when it could be on the headset. The behind the head design is nice, but I did find that the section by the ears did cause a little pressure, but nothing unbearable. It would have been nice to have adjustable ear pieces (which I noticed the plantronics have). It would also be nice if there was a usb version of this, although I'm not sure how much better the sound quality is over the regular mini plugs. Other wise this is a great versatile headset. Dont get a mono headset, and spend a extra few bucks for a better headset, you'll much more happier in the end

Posted Jun 24, 2005 - The Headset looks good, and you can change the color plates for earpieces. The inline control has a microphone on/off switch, so you don't need to plug/unplug it, it's great. The mic is too short, sometime it can not pick enough sound.

Posted Sep 16, 2004 - I enjoyed this product. It allows you to communicate easliy with no sore ears or bothersome software that won't install simply plug ang play would highly recommend to others. Plus I enjoyed to ablity to change the colors of the speakers to what ever yo liek with the 4 colors provided.

Great little headset for the price

Posted Oct 27, 2007 - For the price, this is a great little headset to replace my old broken one. Inline volume controls always seem to be the first part that malfunctions on computer headsets, for me anyway, but this one is still working fine (I barely use the headset). This one doesn't fold, but I don't travel with it so I guess it doesn't really matter, and even if I did, unless I had some carrying case for it, the cord flopping all over the place would negate the benefit of it folding anyway. The microphone doesn't swivel on this one, so if I'm eating I'll have to take it off as opposed to just swinging the mic out of the way, assuming I don't want to dip it in what it is I'm eating at the time. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product, it meets my needs and I would purchase it again.

TERRIBLE!! DONT BUY IT!

Posted Mar 12, 2007 - I bought one and after 2 weeks the microphone stopped working, no one could hear me!! I called to get a replacement, I did, and guess what?! Two weeks later it starts giving me problems again! I hear a fuzzy noise which wasn't there before when I plug in the mic, and people can barely hear me. I don't think this is a coincidence, they probably just used extremely low quality material on this, which is why I stongly recommend: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF JUNK!! Even the mics you get for free last longer than this!!
