1024 x 768 - 16.7 Million Colors 24-bit - 250 Nit - VGA - Silver - MPN: RAD5
Strengths: I have two & I think they are the best.
Weakness: I had one on lay-a-way & it was thrown around & the screen just flipped.
I bought the last one at the same store & returned the
the defective one two days later. I felt I was being some what dishonist, but it was their fault, not the product.

TopStrengths: Cost and quality of image.
Weakness: none so far.
I bought two of'em: one for my workbench and one (with speakers) for 11 yr. old granddaughter's pc I built. They look great. Speakers are alittle tinny, but fine for her. Cost/quality you cant beat.

TopStrengths: Crystal-Clear picture, sleek design, easy set-up, single cable for power and signal (very cool)
Weakness: I wish I had another $300 to have bought the 17" version
If you want a great picture but have limited space this is a perfect replacement for a 17" CRT. The company will send out a new monitor overnight if you have problems and it just looks cool on my desk.
ps - I took the sticker off in ~2 minutes with my thumbnail (but it was annoying)

TopStrengths: Razor sharp images. No streaking or dead pixels. Beautiful to look at; very slim. Great price.
Weakness: I had a power-supply problem. When I called KDS they quickly agreed to send me a replacement as my serial number had been recalled. No problems with the new one.
I love this monitor! It replaces my Dell 17" CRT and the viewing area is not much different. The picture, however, is not even in the same galaxy. This is the clearest monitor I have seen at any price. I am addicted to Second Nature screen savers (we all have our little idiosyncrasies) that I also use as wallpaper. Well, the images bowled me over. The are now really sharp and take on a 3D look. I had planned on buying a 17" LCD until I paid a visit to my local Gateway store. It's sad, but Gateway is the only place in the NYC area where you can actually try out the computers and monitors with real applications. Anyway, what I learned was that an LCD looks best at maximum screen resolution. The 17" screens run at 1280x840 (this may not be exactly right) and to these 54 year old eyes, everything looked sooooo small, especially the AOL banner, that I had to squint. Free Cell was hilarious as these tiny little cards were spread far apart on the giant screen. Then I tried 15" and it used a very comfortable 1024x768 resolution. That sold me. When I went to other stores to check out other monitors, the Rad-5 was the clear (haha) winner. You won't be disappointed with this one. If I may nitpick just a bit...the RAD-5 comes with a large sticker accross the top of the monitor (not on the actual screen) and it took me 30 minutes and a lot of adhesive remover to get it off. This was a very small price to pay for this excellent product.

TopStrengths: Crystal Clear picture, no distortion of text, very bright, easy setup
Weakness: One bad pixel.
I was replacing a twenty inch KDS monitor that had died. I saw this flat panel in my local Wal-Mart and decided to research it a little. It seemed to be the best bang for the buck.
I knew it would be smaller, but like the other reviewer I don't care. The clarity is so much better and the fact that you don't have to adjust the screen to get "flat" or "straight" picture.
In using the monitor I have found no weaknesses only a few minor quibles. I had a dead pixel on my flat panel. It burns yellow all the time. I have gotten used to it. And my other quible is that people tend to pick it up and take it when they see it.
Gaming performance is pretty good with only a little ghosting. All fast moving programs such as games and screensavers, and winamp plugins have worked well so far.
If you need a good replacement for a monitor definitely consider this one. You will not regret the extra few bucks.

TopStrengths: Simple to install. Auto-configure works great the first time
Weakness: None yet
I purchased this monitor to replace a 19" CRT, knowing full well that I was giving up screen real estate. And you know what, I don't care! This screen is crystal clear and the image is easy on your eyes. If the Rad-r was 20/20 vision, than the CRT is 20/40.
That being said, I have know intention of using this monitor for games. I understand CRTs are still by far the best choice.
Great bang for the buck
Hope this helps.

KDS Radius 15" LCD Monitor
Strengths: Great, sharp picture. Excellent renderings. Zero defective pixels on my unit. Easy to install and set-up. Convenient under screen controls.
Weakness: No tilt; Glued on label cannot easily be removed.
I dropped down from a 17" OptiQuest CRT to this unit. Virtually no loss on the screen footprint or viewing area. Colors are sharp and vibrant. Controls are easy to use and locate. Not 1 defective pixel!
Would highly recommend for a basic, no-frills 15" flat panel monitor.
But be forwarned; get a can of Goof-Off from the hardware store and a pair of nose plugs. The KDS sticker on the top of the unit is SECURELY and FIRMLY glued on. Plan on 25-30 dedicated minutes to completely remove.
