Not ready for prime time unfortunately

Started Apr 11, 2006

Strengths: ATI RD580 chipset

Weaknesses: Improper CPU voltage options, vcore instability, HTT issues, BIOS issues, etc. all confirmed by several hardware review sites. WAY over-priced even if it did perform properly. Asus is clearly looking

What a disappointment Asus has shipped with both the A8R-MVP and A8R32-MVP mobos having long lists of documented defects. Asus seems to be on the skids in the past several years with problem mobos including Nvidia, Intel and now ATI chipset boards.

I have tried overclocking with this board and it works fine better then other boards I have had in the past if you know how to oc properly the voltage that you are given is all you need
