4 Star Review This Board Rocks!

Strengths:

Every Gamer's Dream MB.

Weaknesses:

Only 1 PCI Slot. If using PCI x16 Slots, it will block the PCI x1 Slots.

Posted Oct 15, 2007 - It is a board for the enthusiast. For the enthusiast who is looking for stability, hardcore performance and oodles of BIOS tweaks, abit has done it right with this board. The BIOS revisions keep getting better adding even more performance and lower, half-step CPU multipliers. I own Corsair DDR2 6400 2x1GB = 2GB Kits and the board accepts them with minimal tinkering. Although, I did have to go into the BIOS and adjust the default voltage to their standard volt settings. It's rock solid stable running a Dual Core X2 6400+ Blackbox Edition. The board overclocks very well and is definitely a must-have for those who crave all the features listed above and of course; Fatal1ty! The onboard LED-BIOS display is a nice touch. If you get beep codes you can easily reference the code on the display to the list in the manual.

Strengths:

Rock solid performce and also looking good with all the LED's dancing around.

Weaknesses:

It runs hot, you need a good air flow case with fans.

Posted Oct 20, 2007 - This is a solid build motherboard for gamers. It has the Guru utility that lets you monitor temps and overclock the cpu on the fly so you dont have do it in the bios. It has a separated pci express so
