christodd1 - (September 17, 2004) This motherboard Rocks! The onboard sound is 6.1 digital Dolby. There are plenty of USB and Firewire ports. There are multiple IDE and SATA hard drive ports. It supports RAID configurations and four Gigabytes of memory. Installation and setup was a breeze. Everything worked correctly from the start. This motherboard is well worth the money.

jonlouisville - (May 16, 2005) My processor is the AMD Athlon 3500+ ($267 shipped); memory is 2 Samsung DIM-DDR400-512 sticks (1 GB total) from Directron ($77.98 shipped). I got this board ($168 shipped) and the processor from BuyXG.com, which had the best all-round price and shipping deal for both, and good ratings. I upgraded from an Asus TUSL2-C, which was about the best board when it was released, and found myself very loyal to Asus following that experience. I did a lot of research before diving in to the A8N-SLI Deluxe. This new board did not disappoint; neither would the non-deluxe version if you don't need the ultimate expandibility the Deluxe brings and you want a heavier wallet. Excellent, easy to re

_user - (June 10, 2004) The retail version comes with everything included - cables, backplane panel, manual, drivers - even 2 copper CPU coolers. Would not recommend buying OEM - you'll miss the accessories, and will have hard time finding 3rd party cooler for CPU 1 (any good P4 cooler will fit CPU 0). On the other hand, the MSI supplied cooler has a fan that is undersized, very high rpm, and therefore quite noisy, so you may want to replace it. Anyway, the price differential between retail and OEM is almost negligible, if existing at all, if you take into account retail prices for cables and coolers, not counting time you spend ordering them and fitting things. The board itself, in deep red, with color-matching

Adzsask - (05/01/2011) In two trys I had a 4.2GB overclock on my i7 950, has post code reader built onto the mobo to troubleshoot fast and easily. Also has LEDs to show how many power phases your RAM, processor are using. Also has 2 PCIEX16 slots and 2 PCIEX8 slots for all you die hard folders out there :D.

1 Star Review Tom's Top Pick - Bullcrap!

sonotracer - (11/30/2010) This board has been nothing but problems trying to get it configured to recognize all the memory and not reboot itself several times during post. Read the forums as they are littered with issues. I will be sending it back and getting an ASUS board.

4 Star Review Great Motherboard, but the seller suckes

cjweyer - (10/19/2010) It is impossible to review the product without a review of the seller, since the product was misrepresented. I would use the word fraud but don't wish to generate any liability. I was able to use the product but only because I had the accessories required from motherboards previously purchased. If I did not have a cache of left over cables and other material the board would have been worthless. The sellers response was to send me a link to request an RMA, they made no attempt to send me the product as advertised. I seriously doubt that I will ever deal with any Pricegrabber merchant ever again. When an item is advertised as a boxed set using the Intel product number indicating it is a boxed set and arrives as the bulk item with no accessories how would you characterize the sale, again the only word that comes to mind is fraud or maybe bate and switch, or just another example of an internet scam. I plan to stick with CDW and Newegg in the future.
