Posted Sep 15, 2002 - Tied along in a basic sextet of Chaplin's best in my top ten movies, with A Dog's Life (1919), The Kid ('21), City Lights (31), Modern Times (36), and Great Dictator (40). Groundbreaking, influential comedy that set high standards to equal or surpass.
