5 Star Review Great mp3 player with all the bells and whistles

Strengths:

In-line mp3 recording from any source; FM tuner, Voice and preset FM recording, fast USB 2, uses one AA battery, Firmware upgradable, small size, kit includes sport strap.

Weaknesses:

Battery get drained when the player is connected to the computer through USB, can't use Windows explorer to transfer files, mp3 files can't be uploaded from the player(download only).

Posted Dec 31, 2005 - If you're looking for a great mp3 player within the 1 GB storage capacity; then this is the one. You can also transfer or store other file format using iriver software; of course the USB2 is also great feature for fast transfer. I like the feature that I can preset a recording time and interval for a FM broadcast. Screen is big enough to display most of the important data. It also uses single AA battery available everywhere.

5 Star Review Powerful Output & Incredible Sound! I can never hear such sound performance in my iPod!

Strengths:

3D+powerful EQ setting, IFP-899T did shock me with its amazing sound output! A whole new hearing experience of MP3 player. One AA bettery can keep it working for more than 30 hours. Cool! I like it!

Weaknesses:

A little bit big & weight.

Posted Dec 20, 2005 - If U think 'great sound' is what a MP3 player lives for, no doubt, this is what you're looking for. By the way, its perfect line-in function also makes me believe that I made a right choice.
