Posted Apr 16, 2006 - I really like the ipod I got. I have been using it for more than a year and everything is excellent. IT is very easy to use and the color is wonderful. I am thinking to get a nano to replace this one now.

Posted Apr 17, 2004 - This is one of the best HD based players around. The auto sync software for the PC is exceptional. All one needs to do is plug it in the usb port and the iPod Mini and iTunes software will do all the work. Great product, the best of the best.

Expensive, not expandable, don't know how to change the battery.

Posted Jun 23, 2004 - It is expensive product which have very nice design, elegant, sexy, and also better sound with equalizer and so many other facility : game, notes, alarm, time & date. It is good also for backup harddisk. It is difficult to found the product also. The best for all, but we don't know how to change the lithium battery. And also you have to put all your song in one directory. And the manual is too short, and not enough for new user.

Posted Jan 24, 2005 - This is a very elegant machine. Works well when plugged in or used frequently. Battery dies if sits around unused for even a week. Wheel interface is cool but sometimes difficult to use. Love the belt clip.

I bought this to replace my Rio Nitrus which broke ...

Strengths:

Small size, good warranty, holds all my music with space to spare

Weaknesses:

not as back pocket friendly as my old rio nitrus was

Posted Oct 9, 2004 - I bought this to replace my Rio Nitrus which broke after only 6 months of ownership. Thankfully Apple backs up their product with a one year warranty meaning they have a bit more faith in their products then Rio does. Taking a bit get to used to at first, but sure in the end I will be just as happy with my mini ipod as I was with my Nitrus.

Posted Oct 12, 2004 - There are things in life that makes you feel better, a product that represents you in every DETAIL is one of these things. From the package to the cable, everything has been made with so much care that you feel you're unpacking a $10K brandname watch, but even better, you're unpacking an Ipod Mini!!! Ohter MP3 players that costs you equal or a little bit less, gives you microphones, FM and almost a starbucks coffee maker, so if you're looking for "more for the buck" player buy them, but if you're looking for PREMIUM mp3 player with ALL the features, quality, precision, finesse, design, size, support, status, etc that a top music instrument must have, there's only one... Ipod. Think about it, you can buy a very good casio which does everything, even GPS for 5 to 10 times less than a tag-heuer watch which only gives you time and date, but imagine a tag-heuer class mp3 player for just $250? isn't it very cheap?... Sincerelly, which one would you preffer? Ipod Rocks!

This blue mini can really turn some heads. Very slim featured. 4GB is plenty for most afficiandos. Controls are very easy to use.

Posted Nov 22, 2004 - If you are looking to get your fellow a mini for christmas but don't know what color to get...make sure and take a close look at the blue mini. It has all the positives of the mini (lightweight, plenty of storage space, sweet sound reproduction, etc.) and doesn't make too bold of a fashion statement. If in doubt go blue.

Strengths:

It's so much smaller than other MP3 players that hold the same amount of music.It's the only i pod that can fit in a small pocket comfortably.

Weaknesses:

You need to send it to apple and get the battery replaced when it dies after 1 yr. It'll cost you about $100, so it's something to think about.

Posted Oct 3, 2004 - So far, I really like my i pod. I used to have different kind that holds 30 GB. But I never needed that much. It was so much bigger than i pod mini that it didn't fit in my small bag with other stuff. I would recommend i pod mini if you just want to listen to the songs at work, school or while you are taking a walk. If you are to make a huge collection of many songs, then you might consider regular i pod.

Strengths:

Small, sleek, high-quality product, exellent for people with collections under 1,000 songs, don't know why people need more than that.Plus, good features and navigation options

Weaknesses:

The ipod mini is very pricey at $230, you can get a 15gb ipod for about $50 more. Not a fan of itunes so far but have seen another program to manage your mp3 and transfer to ipod

Posted Jul 1, 2004 - Overall a very solid mp3 player, would highly recommend. Holds about 70 hours of music. The 8 hour battery did not last the full 8 hours for me, got approx 7.3 but still very good for a hard drive based player.
