Got this ipod for the gym, and it is AWESOME! Unlike its bulkier predecessor, it is easy to clip on and the audio clarity is great. It holds charge for a long time. Just enough storage space for what I need. I highly recommend this product!

TopStrengths: Great colors. VERY small. No moving parts. Perfect for jogging outdoors or at treadmill, hiking, waiting at airport.
Weakness: Pricier than competitors for just 1GB. It's a Shuffle, so you can't choose the order of songs and no screen either.
This is the perfect iPod for those just starting out with playing MP3s - teens, seniors, etc, and for those on a budget. I gave this as a gift to a friend who just ran his first half-marathon and also to a starving PhD student. It is more expensive than similar 1GB MP3 players sold at Best Buy or Borders, some of which are even 'preloaded' with MP3s, but this is an Apple iPod. I bought this at pcconnection.com after a search in PriceGrabber.com and got it at less than full price with free shipping (because I bought other items).

It's amazing what they can pack into something the size of ?? I guess 2 pieces of Trident gum would be about right, wouldn't it?
I bought this for my son, but the cool color, the simple operation, small size and light weight, I may have to buy one for myself. All the usual pros of typical .mp3 player; no-skip operation, long battery life (relatively speaking), great sound. This is the ideal workout companion (2nd only to a ... never mind).
On the down-side, I don't like being locked into Apple, and the iTunes proprietary music. Time will tell about battery life; my 1st gen Nano had a terrible battery memory, and after about a year wouldn't hold a charge for more than 2 hours.

Cool body work and with shining color. The green color
is a great enviorment friendly color. It's a relaxation
color, good for the eyes. Also the green is ok for an adult, either man or woman.

Great little player!
Strengths: the size is wonderful. So compact and can be taken everywhere. Great to wear to the gym!
Weakness: Limited to only 240 songs.
This was my first MP3 player and so far it has been very user-friendly. I can easily navigate the itunes website and download songs from my personal cds with ease. It is great for MP3 beginners to use.
