Strengths:

Compact, lightweight, tough, and good storage capacity

Weaknesses:

on/off/lock button is miniature, and easy to turn from locked to off. no known way to create playlist.

Posted Nov 6, 2002 - This thing is a great little player, but the on off button sent me into a frenzy a few times. The inability to shuffle through songs or create a playlist was maddening. the software that came with this thing was standard, nothing snazzy enabling any kind of editing or playlist management. its a great player, with a few quirks, you have to learn to live with.

Strengths:

Sound quality and powerful output makes it number 1! I can't believe Intel has discontinued the line. I just bought the docking station direct because its now on the extinction list.

Weaknesses:

Its no longer going to be sold or supported by Intel

Posted Jun 28, 2002 - Outstanding. I've tried them all - this was the one. Styling was too Intelish, but hey, they may just be proud. After buying my daughter one, I had to have one too. The sound quality is simply fantastic. I take it in the dry sauna and it handles the heat. I get it wet and it just keeps on banging along. This truly is a great product. Also, the software is about as easy as it gets to use.

I love it and I have a 2 year protection plan thro ...

Strengths:

Just about everything about it!!! Capacity is perfect, easy to keep track of. VERY Durable.

Weaknesses:

Scratches easily, however doesn't affect the performance of the product

Posted May 20, 2002 - I love it and I have a 2 year protection plan through CompUsa but I dont think it will have stopped working by then. Also the headphones are perfect but also scratch easily.

This thing is great. seriously...everything about ...

Strengths:

This thing is awesome...everything about it is great.. The sound, battery life, and lightweight make this an optimal player...it was worth every dollar

Weaknesses:

none found so far...

Posted May 13, 2002 - This thing is great. seriously...everything about it is great...I use it at the gym..no skips, and the fact that it only weights a few ounces is sweet...sometimes i forget i have it on...a must for all people that like to listen to music while exercising...there is nothing better out there

I would definitely recommend this product to anyon ...

Strengths:

It's very light. 128mb is plenty. It's very user friendly. You can easily upload to the device. The LCD is easy to read. The docking staion is well thought out for charging and loading.

Weaknesses:

Headphones, buttons are a little small, although they just need some getting used too

Posted May 10, 2002 - I would definitely recommend this product to anyone in the market for a portable MP3. My main purpose for purchasing the product was to use it in the gym. It has with out a doubt proved it self. In some cases you can't even feel the player on your persons. So be aware before sitting down!

Strengths:

sleek, simple, outstanding sound and functionality software is bullet-proof. None better.

Weaknesses:

FM Tuner is weaker than expected, but that is not why you would buy this player

Posted Mar 4, 2002 - This is a sleeper. May be the very best player out there. Capacity is superb. Design is elegant and stylish. Controls easy to use with one hand, even when cycling (wear your helmet!) Battery life is excellent. Sound quality is unsurpassed. Intel hit a grand slam with this one. Pricey, but worth every penny.
