the zen micro is one of - if not the - bes mp3 on ...

Strengths:

{i haven't bought one yet!!} ive looked at all of the mp3 players on hte market under $250 and the zen micro and zen microphoto are the best ones. ipods are way to expencive n not as many GBs

Weaknesses:

i have not read any weaknesses about the zen micro. it is so awesome! i am going to get one but i think ill get it after christmas because they might be on sale! i will comment again after i buy it.

Posted Dec 4, 2005 - the zen micro is one of - if not the - bes mp3 on the market today. it has so many features that i donot even know why people buy ipods anymore! the ipod nano and zen micro are abut the same price-- the namo has 2 GBs and zen micro has 5! 3,000 songs vs like 1,000! all ur paying for is the "apple ipod" brand name. i really think that this is deffinantly the best mp3 player you can buy for $200.

Posted Oct 11, 2005 - It is better than the iPod for what you pay for. It's pretty cheap for 5 gigs and you are getting a good deal for something that has a fm radio, voice recorder, radio recorder, best audio than any other MP3 player, and the battery is removable, so you can just buy a new one if it runs out.

I would prefer this over the mini ipod anytime. It ...

Strengths:

removable battery, long batttery life, organization good, very cheap. Headphones are good too!

Weaknesses:

Freezes up occasionally... touch pad takes long to learn. Also bad reception for the radio. Weighs alittle heavier than the ipod.The instruction manual doesn't help alot.

Posted Jun 29, 2005 - I would prefer this over the mini ipod anytime. It has more features and alot more colors to chose from. I like how it was easy to to create and edit playlists and the recorders are good. I didn't like the touch pad because it was complated than the ipod.

Weaknesses:

Touch pad not as good as ipod's click wheel, issues of compatiblity with Napster to go

Posted Mar 14, 2005 - I bought this Zen Micro mainly because of the removable battery. Its very small, a lot smaller than the regular ipod, not so sure about the ipod mini but from reviews, I've heard its smaller or similiar in size to the mini. the touch pad is not as great as the ipod's click wheel but its ok. The FM tuner sucks since I really can't get a good signal. But other than that, I like it...its cheap...got it for $199 + shipping. Sounds great and has a lot of great features: voice recording, appointment book, removable battery. Its not perfect but I choose it over the ipod any day because of the battery.
