Posted Dec 28, 2005 - Enjoyed the product for about a year. Battery died then the control wheel refused to function. Any repairs from Apple cost the same as a new ipod mini. I will explore other mp3 players for replacement.

iPod mini

Posted Dec 11, 2005 - I recieved my iPod for my 14th birthday about 7 mos. ago and I absolutely love it. I am a cross-country runner at my high school, so the belt clip was especially helpful for those eight-milers near the end of the season. The iPod mini has enough space to store my music- I have over a day and I'm only busing about 1.15 GB. The mini is light, but not so light that you forget it's there. The best thing about the mini is it doesn't look as if it will break in a stiff breeze like the nano.

The BEST electronics product I have owned

Posted Nov 19, 2005 - I received my Ipod mini as a birthday gift. Unfortunately I have had too many birthdays but this was the BEST gift I have ever received. It is simply a pleasure to use. My car stereo has an MP3 port, so the only time I now listen to the radio is for the traffic reports. Not only do I get to listen to my music, the sound quality is so much better through the car speakers then anything I can get on an FM station. If I had a larger music library or needed photo or video capability, then I think the newer video iPods would be more suitable. But right now it is a perfect companion for driving to work.

Posted Oct 6, 2005 - if i rate this iPod yesteady, i could be just like everybody else giving out 5 stars.. but today it just die on me, sound only come out from the right earphone, and it stop playback right after about 3 min. It had an average sound, software is very hard to use on Windows. Lack of FM, Voice recording, with no Color LCD. Friends who owns other brand like iRiver's H10 just have less complain about their Mp3 player. This iPod is not recommend, after all people are just buying it because the "Apple" and "iPod" brand.

Ipod mini 4gb 2nd gen mp3 player - blue

Posted Aug 18, 2005 - This ipod mini has all the great features - color is way cool, it is light weight, sounds great and is easy to use. Downloading songs to the ipod is a snap on the itunes website. It is great when you work out - can put on your belt and carry your tunes wherever you go. I recommend this highly.

Great player

Posted Aug 13, 2005 - I have a Creative Muvo2 and a Zen Micro. To my untrained ears, both of them play music as well as the IPod. But, IPod's click wheel, large LCD, and nicely designed menus are easily the best user interface! You don't have to read the the manual. Everything is intuitive. I also like the auto pause function when headphones are unplugged. The sleep timer is very handy, too. I only wish Apple could add an FM tuner to the IPods. I'm sure it's a piece of cake for their engineers. But while the current IPod can hold its market share, Apple just doesn't have incentive to give us anything better! :(

iPod Mini

Posted Aug 9, 2005 - I have both a 40gb 4th gen and this iPod. This iPod is simply to small for most people's music collection. However, it is much better for running due to the flash based HD. I also would like to see Apple include an FM radio in their "pods". There are some neat feutures on this like games and an alarm clock.

Posted Aug 7, 2005 - The iPod mini is an excellent MP3 player. It is small enough to take just about anywhere any time (good for workouts). One of the major feature that the iPods offer is the easy navigation system, and the overall quality of built and design. Highly recommended.

Posted Jul 23, 2005 - Love it from the bottom of my heart. I received this iPod mini (light blue one) from my Uncle as my birthday gift this year. It is so cute, stylish, and weightless. It has 4GB capability which means you can store up to 1000 songs. It’s very user friendly and easy to use. I am going to buy an A/C power adaptor soon because I don’t really like to charge it with a USB cable. iPod mini does not take much space in your pocket. I love to carry it around whenever and wherever I want. I highly recommended this mp3 player, iPod mini, to people who are still looking for a mp3 player.

Posted Jun 26, 2005 - This is difinitely a must get for someone who will use it a lot and is serious about lisenting to music. The calendar, alarm clock and memo/note pad are great to keep you on top of things. This is surely a top of the line mp3 player and if you don't know that many songs or don't want all the extra features this is not the mp3 player to purchase. I will use all or most of these features so i think it is AWESOME!!

Posted Jun 18, 2005 - I enjoyed very much with the this mini ipod. Received ipod within 4 days of order. Easy to use and very fast down load of mp3 music using USB 2.0. Naviagation of the ipod is very friendly and ease of use. I definitely recommend this ipod to my friends. Perhaps on the next order, I'll get 6 Gig mini ipod instead of 4 Gig.

Received this product in two days from order date ...

Posted Jun 2, 2005 - Received this product in two days from order date from Beach Camera. Software setup was easy and fast. Even though I only have a USB 1.1 (not 2.0 as indicated as necessary), it still allows you to download from the PC but you can't charge it from the USB 1, you need to get an A/C adapter or car charger. Very happy with the mini ipod.

Posted May 10, 2005 - The instructions aren't very good, I had a hard time figuring out how to brush my finger over the wheel, until someone showed me. Bought as a graduation gift for girlfriend. She loved it. On the way to buy the correct firewire cable we passed a Dell Kiosk in the Mall and I showed her the Dell MP3 players. She didn't like them, they're not "cute and sexy". This is truly a neat and fun product.

Posted Apr 8, 2005 - I got iPod 2Gen 4GB, I bought it for $179 after College Student Discount. I love it. iPod & iTunes are so easy to use. iPod is so popular that it always carry that value. If I want to sell it later on, it will still have good value, and will be easy to sell. It's very reasonable price ($179) has 18 hrs battery life. There are all kinds of iPod accsorries like cables, car fm tunder, mic., portable stereo system, and many more. I say iPod mini is best mp3 player out there for the money. I know there is iPod 4 Gen 20GB, but I think 4 GB is enough space and iPod is just to big to carry around, while the iPod mini fits right into my pockets.
