HP (Hewlett-Packard) iPod Photo 60GB 2nd Gen. MP3 Player
Design and Apple easy of use
Tons - see below
Posted Nov 7, 2005 - I bought this Ipod 1 week ago. Removing it from the plastic wrap I had scrates on the screen and everywhere else. The material used is poor quality. It took me sometime to figure out how to move around the menus but once I got around it is easy. Screen is sharp and clear. Photos look great and scroll quickly. You have to use Itunes for everything and you can't scroll and create directories on the hard drive. I have an older Archos 15GB Recorder and frankly for 1/3 the price the Archos beats this play anyday as an MP3 player, voice recoder etc.... There is too much hype on this device and you are paying for the "IPOD" name rather than the product performance. Every little thing is an accessory you have to buy. They do not give you a case and provide you with poor quality earplugs. The sound is nowhere better than the Archos. 1 Week later it dies on me. The round menu does not function. This is going back - you can purchase a notebook with this price. All that Apple marketing - huh !
