Their website says they will match prices, but they did not do that at all. They totally refused. I even spoke with a supervisor, but she still would not even budge. They should not say that they attempt to meet prices when they do nothing of the kind. Retailer Response (07/31/2006): At NeedPlumbingSupplies.com we do match competitor prices. In fact we match prices many times each day! We will refuse to price match when we cannot confirm the competing price or availability of product from the competitor or when the competitor's price is below our cost for the product. |

I ordered and paid for a new Saniflo toilet from NeedPlumbingSupplies. They sent me a used, previously returned, broken toilet. It had been previously returned, because the box was torn really bad, there was candy in the box, and the old shipping label from the previous customer return was still on the box. They told me that they were going to send me another one via UPS Next Day Air, but they didn't. I still don't have what I ordered and they won't return my phone calls. Scam! Retailer Response (07/31/2006): At NeedPlumbingSupplies.com we DO NOT sell used or returned product. This customer's SaniFlo toilet was shipped via common carrier (truck) and cannot be shipped UPS overnight delivery. Obviously, their original shipment was severely damaged during transit. This customer has received replacement merchandise and has ignored our further attempts to contact them. |

I bought a Kohler shower valve. I was nervous that I wouldn't get it in time, so I called to ask how long it would take. They were very helpful and told me it would be there in 3-4 days. I got it in 3 days at a great price. I plan on buying from them again when I redo my bathroom. Thank you to Need Plumbing Supplies for a great shopping experience! |

The only prblem I have with this company is they some how shipped one of my packages to an Address in NJ and I live in CA. It's going on 8 weeks and the package is still sitiing on the porch in NJ. And they won't give me credit until they receive the package. Retailer Response (07/31/2006): Our records show that we did in fact ship customer's merchandise to an incorrect address. However, we shipped replacement merchandise to the correct address within 24 hours of becoming aware of the situation. UPS reports deliver of the replacement merchandise on 06/07/2006. |

We are in the Home Improvement business. Need Plumbing was recommended by a customer who said they were very easy to deal with and there was no shipping. We have ordered twice from them. 1st time we ordered the wrong thing and they credited our charge card imediately and cancelled the order no questions asked. Second time, I called them and they were one of the best customer service companies I've ever dealt with. They were coureous, they answered all of my questions and they were very accomodating. I will definitely order from them again and I will recommend them to all of our customers. |

This is how internet shopping should be. You go online, find the product you want, go to pricegrabber and find the best deal, go to that merchant's web site and order the item, they send it in a timely manner, it arrives and is exactly what you ordered and you are happy. It can't work any better than that. Good job Need Plumbing Supplies, Inc. and Price Grabber. What a team! And yes I would recommend this merchant and I will go to them again. |

Needplumbingsupplies has been great. I am remodeling my bathroom. I ordered about $3000 worth of fixtures ranging from faucets/bathtubs to Glass doors. Everything except for one special order item was delivered promptly and ahead of what I expected. The pricing was much cheaper then local places. The special order item took longer then expected, but I called around and it was backordered everywhere from the manufacturer. Communication with the customer service was excellent. They had names and even called me back. I would definitely order from Needplumbingsupplies again. They are one of the best internet retailers I have dealt with. |

Beware when shopping from this retailer. I ordered a cast iron sink from them. When I opened the box 10 minutes after receiving it, a large piece of the sink was BROKEN. I called them immediately to report this. Currently, I am being told that if the shipping company does not acknowledge that they broken the sink and offer to pay for a replacement, a replacement sink nor a refund will be granted. It looks like I may be out $460. Their rationale is that I signed for the sink when it was delivered. I had no idea that in signing the shipping form upon receipt I was waiving all rights to receive the intact product I had paid for. The shipping form I signed is completely ambiguous, and it is not evident that your signature relieves NeedPlumbingSupplies.com of its obligation to properly fulfill your order. This company does not seem to be interested in doing the right thing by their customers. NeedPlumingSupples.com, prove me wrong. Retailer Response (12/01/2008): We did accommodate this customer, providing a replacement sink and a faucet that was not part of their order at our cost. Since this accommodation was made by email with the president of our company, we are shocked to see this review. Unfortunately, the customer's 200 lb cast-iron kitchen sink was received damaged but customer signed the delivery receipt as received in good order. Heavy plumbing fixtures will always ship via motor freight (regardless of where they are purchased) and as noted on our website as well as in the shipment tracking email to this customer, FREIGHT SHIPMENTS MUST BE INSPECTED AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. We even include the freight company's phone number in our email to the customer just in case a problem arises during the inspection process. |

Order online was easy. Explaination of product was good. I had called to ask about the order and they never returned my call. One part was included with order, but I duplicated it in order not knowing it was already included. Emailed them and they never addressed the issue. Retailer Response (04/14/2009): This customer ordered a Danze wall-mount bathroom faucet which requires a valve. On the same order they also ordered the required valve and a drain as well. Anything extra or included in this customers shipment was a warehouse mistake for which they were not charged. We will contact this customer to see if they are willing to return the extra merchandise that was apparently packed with their order. |

I ordered a Franke ORX-110 from this website AFTER I spoke with a customer service representative on the phone who informed me of shippng times. I was in a bit of a time crunch to get the sink installed but left a day or two leeway. They rely on FedEx for shipping but didn't take into account that FedEx may have been closed for holiday when I was told on the phone that the sink would be here in 2-3 business days. Needless to say, I'm still waiting for the sink and no one at NeedPlumbingSupplies.com can do ANYTHING to help!!
I had to call them several times and leave messages. Even though I was assured that someone would call back, I never once received a call from them.
I will never buy from them again and I certainly don't recommend anyone else doing so. I saved $20 but it's not worth the hassle or headache. Go with someone else. Retailer Response (01/12/2009): This customers order was placed on the afternoon of Friday 11/28/2208, the order shipped via FedEx on Tuesday 12/2/2008 and was delivered on 12/5/2008. Customers credit card had a Connecticut address BUT they wanted the sink shipped to Florida. This triggered a credit card verification and fraud prevention issue. We routinely scan orders for signs of online fraud and sometimes must contact a customer and their credit card company to determine if a transaction is legitimate. As part of this process, we immediately contact our customer to let them know what's happening. NeedPlumbingSupplies.com is committed to a zero fraud policy and we very much appreciate the cooperation of our customers in the charge verification and fraud prevention process. |

Altho PG now shows the price as $350, we paid $287.50, shipping incl. This was 2 weeks ago. Got the pricing from seller's site. Excellent communication. They called and said it wouldn't ship for about 5 days - told them to go ahead. Arrived about 10 days after order was placed. Were emailed every step of the way. Price we paid was $0-$60 cheaper than other web sellers and $150+ less than local dealers. I don't mind paying a little extra to a local merchant - but not a third more. (Maybe 20% more.) A very pleasant experience |
