MrDJ009 - (March 08, 2005) As a basic network file server the unit works as expected. I use a 160GB USB drive and I had no difficulty saving and retrieving files from the drive. However, this product has a number of annoying flaws. Namely, some functions simply don’t work properly or are incorrectly documented. The DNS-120 has its own built in clock however it doesn't seem to use it properly. All new files are annoyingly dated with GMT plus 2 hours. Since my time zone is GMT -5, all of my files have a time stamp that is seven hours off. The built in backup software, if you can get it to work, dates all backed up folders with the current date & time plus 3 hours and all files are dated 9/19/1992 9:45 AM. The co

livk - (May 04, 2004) 3C905B-TX is a solid, reliable product. I know a lot of computers having those cards running without any problems. Performance is quite good for regular 100TX Ethernet (especially in conjunction with other 3Com equipment). All modern software supports this NIC (you even don't need the driver disk in most cases). Don't believe anybody who claims the product is new - as it's been discontinued for a while. Refurbished is good though considering the card's reliability and the discounted price.

MikeGratis - (January 01, 2003) I got this card when I ordered DSL service, after reading a lot of online reviews. It was a cinch to install and update the drivers and has worked flawlessly since day one. Perfect operation in Windows 95, 98, ME & XP, as well as several different versions of Linux that I have tried. In addition to DSL, I've got this networked with another computer in the house. I recommend this card without any reservations.

albertchew - (06/01/2009) I like this because it not a wall adapter. Wall ethernet adapter takes up space on the wall, and have a lot of overheating problems. This unit is great because it uses a regular power cord for power. It is a great product

2 Star Review Not much difference

vau64 - (12/02/2008) Sometimes I have to experiment especially with network related gadgets. This is one is no brainer. However, tried this on 4 different brand of routers, but didn't see any noticeable difference in the throughput. Not recommended.

4 Star Review Gigabit PCI adapter

ap1966 - (10/28/2008) This gigabit pci adapter worked so well. I did not have any problem with this product since I bought it a few months ago. It worked well with other Netgear products. Files transfer through this card is up at gbps.
