GeorgeChan - (April 16, 2005) Bought a pair of refurb XE102 (source/receiver set up). Thought it would work instantly without installing the software only to find out the MAC address cannot be located. After the software installation, system works beautifully at full 10 mbps. This device is very good enough if you are not demanding 10+ mbps speed for networking purpose. Serving internet in my basement is just like a dream comes true. If you get the WGXB102 Package (one XE102 and one WGX102) which has a wireless range extender as the Receiver, you then get wireless connection right from the device (plug). This is my next project for my guest house next week or so. Nowadays only the PRE-N / RangeMax models from Belkin or N

robsf23 - (October 19, 2005) I purchased this because I wanted a way to transfer and back up my digital photos while traveling. I do not have a laptop. Even if I did, it would be way too bulky to bring for backup purposes. I wanted to ensure that I backup my photos regularly to my existing USB memory devices. I was able to purchase this from Delkin directly for only $40 (used to be priced about $100). CONFIGURATION The USB BRIDGE has 3 buttons: on/off, transfer, and verify. There are 2 LED lights on either side. The blinking and colors will tell you the status. LED lights (green) tell you that the 2 usb devides are connected active. Press the copy button and the 2 LED lights flash red. That means copying. When finis

Gumbydamnit - (May 04, 2002) This thing works everywhere, on every outlet, very stable. I can't believe powerline networking works so much more reliable than RF! I just pluged it in and it worked, no issues, no troubles. All networking devices should be so easy to use and reliable.

2 Star Review DELKIN USB BRIDGE: TRANSFERS PHOTO FILES ONLY! (NOT VIDEO)

dctpsych - (12/10/2008) I bought my unit from an authorized Delkin dealer on eBay; it arrived quickly (thankfully) as I am about to go out of the country and wanted to be able to offload video (mp4) files from my Flip MinoHD camera without bringing my laptop along. But after working with this ALL afternoon, I'm very disappointed to say that it didn't work once--for video, that is. (And I tried mov, avi, and mp4 files.) Strangely, it worked as advertised for photos, but ONLY for photos! I even popped in a couple of flash drives with documents files, etc., and it didn't transfer those either! I can't imagine why it would be so picky, but it proves that this does NOT work as advertised. (It says, "will transfer data files by USB"; it should more specifically say "photos only.")

4 Star Review Works great

stebog - (04/09/2007) The setup is perhaps a little to easy for someone with lots of network experience. After fighting with it, I wound up plugging it in and it just worked. Don't over think this product, it will work for you with no fuss. Normally I would tear into the house to install cat5 but I'm currently renting and don't have that option. This setup works great for my current situation.

5 Star Review The best networking solution you can have...

chevalar - (03/23/2007) I wanted these primarily to watch movies on my lcd tv in the living room by connecting my laptop to it. I needed something that cud stream videos consistently and this was my only option considering the fact that i had to run a ethernet cable all the way through one floor. I purchased a refurb product which dint come with any manual or software....but i dint need 'em. I plugged in the source adapter near my router and plugged in my receiver adapter down in my living room and it worked instantly. Nice product...make sure your power wiring in the house is connected in the rooms you want the network to be available. My friend told me that I could use a continuity tester to test if the power network is indeed connected.
