The absence was not clear in the online description of the article (but showed up in the user manual). It meant the article had to be returned... costing additional shipping, the original shipping charge which had been "free," and a 25% restocking fee. It Was NOT NEW. What I recieved was not the same brand or model number but a gernric for IDE drives worth less than half of what I paid. It was a total false advertisement that has tied up my money and a goodly amount of time and long distance phone calls for the last two weeks. Very Disappointed! Chrome foil tape on top edge of unit is rippled. Not attractive at all. Box looked crushed when delivered. Look like item had been left in the rain. ITEM LOOKED USED. Delivery person looked in one end of opened box. I was glad to hear that Nohas_Little_Shop has agreed to ship me a new RC897T unit when I ship the damaged one back. Will buy from again. Thank You, deedamon Nohas_Little_Shop's Response: You should have refused the shipment because obviously it was damaged during shipping. You still can call UPS at 1-800 742-5877, use the tracking number and claim the damage. Please do so, and we will follow up on it. You should have contacted us before leaving the negative feedback. But my question is, how does the company know that I purchased the camera when I didn't fill out a registration form? What if I need to send it in for repairs? Seller waited until 5/30 to claim unit damaged in shipping. Has refused to refund purchase price because product ' is considered as "NOT RETURNED" '. Takes no responsibility for original error.
