This is one of the worse services I have ever received. Please be warned that Number1Direct is one of the worse customer service and most horrendous customer-friendly companies on the internet. I would not buy from them even if it meant savings of another 20% over and above any other company. In fact, I will never buy from them again. I purchased a Samsung Washer/Dryer, WA5471/DV5471 from them. First, if you are looking for quick shipping from them you will be disappointed because they don't stock their inventory. After you purchase, they in turn get the inventory from somewhere to be shipped to them, then they ship to you. It takes anywhere from 3-4 weeks out before you get it, if that. After all that shipping around, you are lucky you get it in one piece and undamaged. The Dryer that came with my Washer was damaged with a cracked front door. It took another 4 weeks to get it. In all 2 months and an attitude by their customer service. Don't buy from them!!!! They suck. |

The refrigerator arrived with a scratch on the door. They said that they couldn't do anything to fix it because the warranty does not include 'cosmetic' problems. The shipping box was not damaged - it looks like it left the factory this way. I can't tell if the problem is with number1direct.com or with the manufacturer - Samsung. I might recommend them to a friend but I would warn them about my experience with this merchant. |

Shipping company had one story and Number1Direct had another. Turned out that Number1Direct lied about attempting to contact me. Price may look good, but the hassle and dishonesty make this a company to avoid. |

This is our second attempt to purchase appliances - we canceled our first order after waiting 1 month to find out that LG would not ship to the US-- Not sure exactly what happened - was not going to use them again EXCEPT the prices are unbeatable!!! |

This company runs a bait and switch on shipping. Don't believe their "free shipping" come on; it is a lie. After I was quoted a firm, fixed price for 3 appliances and paid for them, the company notified me out of the blue that I owed a "shipping surcharge" of $138. The surcharge never came up through the purchase process, and was contrary to their ad and the notation on my invoice saying shipping was free because the amount of my purchase exceeded $999. Speaking with a supervisor got me nowhere. I did later complain to my state's Attorney General because I believe Number 1 Direct runs a systematic scam on the consumer by adding a surcharge after the total price has already been agreed to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY. I hope they get indicted. I will never do business with them again. |

Some confusion - some pages read free shipping, another required $99 shipping, which is pretty steep for 35 lbs. I had to call to find out where order was. I was told each order is made at time of order, so it takes 3-4 wks. No where in the order process did it what the deliver time would be, much less 3-4 wks. When it was finally shipped, it was shipped via UPS Ground - I seriously doubt UPS would charge $99 to ship a 35lb box by ground. Order cost too much to ship, took too long, no communication about delivery time, I received an email saying my order had been shipped and would arrive by 9/6/11, only to find out the label had been printed and that was all. When I called customer service, she had no idea why I received that email. While very apologetic, still not a good start. I will not use Number1Direct again. |
