I first discovered O2gearshop.com last year. I purchased my North Face fleece and it arrived faster than expected. This year, I ordered a fleece for my boyfriend and it arrived in 2 days! I recently ordered a Kelty Red Cloud from O2GearShop.com, and it arrived on schedule, with a 40% savings over the price offered at my favorite retail sporting goods shop. Both times I inquired about status, I received a quick, very professional response from the customer service team. It was a better deal than I was able to obtain for a used pack on-line. If service is important to you, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely recommend to friends. |

Product was promised to be shipped within 5-7 business days. Actually shipped 23 days later. Inquiries to company were responded to aloofly and new ship dates were indicated that were not honored. Would not do business with them again. Retailer Response (08/28/2009): The Customer is correct that we did have some unforeseen delays with their item. There was an unexpected backorder that we were not made aware through the manufacturer until after the item didn\'t arrive on time here. We did attempt to keep all the customers affected by this delay informed, but information was very slow in coming from the manufacturer. We did get a accurate ship date, and shipped out the item on that date. We attempted to rectify the situation with the customer after learning of his dissatisfaction, but he had no interest in resolving the situation. Unfortunately, we do have these delays on very rare occasions with custom ordered items, but we do out best to keep the customer well informed of the delay, and offer to cancel the order if the expected delay will be too long. |

Really nice and responsive customer service, but I waited a month for a product that I never received. Customer service wasn't certain when backorder was going to come in and to top it off, my credit card was charged immediately...I thought they could only charge when items are shipped?!? Refund was given as soon as I requested. |

Searched the web for the best price on an Osprey pack. Found it at O2. Made my order and came to find out I'd get a free water bottle and free shipping. Couldn't beat that. I knew the order wasn't in stock and would take 5-7 days before it was shipped (as displayed before I ordered). It shipped after 5 days a got it within 7. The customer service and updates were great. I got an update every time something changed status. Because of my great experience, I decided to do a little research about the company. Found out I had actually been in their store several times and had fantastic experiences there as well. This place gets an A+. I encourage you to make your purchase. You won't regret it. -BTW I never write reviews, so this place is special! |

Ordered a messenger bag on Monday. On Friday I got a call that they won't be able to fulfill the order, but if I wanted to wait ANOTHER 5-7 days plus shipping time, I could get it in a different color. I cancelled the order and bought it from someone else. Don't get sucked in by their low prices, that's just their way of locking you in to an order, then pulling a bait & switch. Buy from a reputable company that has accurate "In Stock" information on their website. |

When my order didn't arrive in a week I called and go through immediately. I spoke to Ryan and explained I needed my order soon (an Advantage 2 aero helmet) because I had a race this coming weekend. He upgraded the shipped to 2 day overnight and sent it immediately. The helmet had been delayed from Giro which caused the delay. The price was $40 cheaper than anywhere else, so the price was right. I really appreciated the expediated shipping and free upgrade. |

(Edited May 22nd by Thlondu) I was searching the net for the best price on a Mountain Hardwear Skyledge 3 tent and ended up placing an order with o2GearShop because they had the 2008 model available for the best price BY FAR. The item did get delayed a few days past their stated 5-7 days to ship, however, Ryan in customer service kept me constantly updated until the item did ship out a few days after. So in the end I got great customer service AND a piece of gear at a deep discount. I will be coming back to them for my next purchase. |

I see that they do not carry them this year, but I was very happy with my wakeboard purchase last summer. The guy that I spoke to on the phone knew what he was talking about and helped me buy a wakeboard that was perfect for me. I could not be more satisfied with the service and the product I received. The price was perfect for my budget and the overall experience when dealing with o2gearshop was wonderful! |

This outfit should not be allowed to do business. On April 22, I ordered a Patagonia Jacket from their online catologue. They immediately took money from my account. Then I received nothing until a May 1 email saying they could only provide the jacket in another unwanted color because Patagonia was out of the jacket in the color and size ordered. I check with Patagonia (both online and via phone) & found they had many of the specified jacket. A check on the o2 gearshop website showed they were still taking orders for that color & size jacket. I contacted o2gearshop, explained this & noted that they could still provide the jacket but they declined to do so, expaining that it would cost them to much to honor their agreement. Finally, on May 3 they sent an email that they had cancelled the order and refunded the money but it wasn't until May 5 (13 days after they took the money) that the money was actually returned. What Scammers! Retailer Response (08/28/2009): Pending charges are put on all orders, but at anytime a customer can be refunded within 24 hrs. The item was listed on our site with as delay ship because it’s custom ordered from Patagonia. We were informed that it was no longer available after we placed the order. Patagonia has separate inventory available for their own sales, but it was not available for us to custom order. We contacted the customer the next day; he did not contact us back until 4 days later. We offered him an alternate color which was still available, but he was not interested, so he was refunded immediately. The item was still mistakenly listed on the site, but after he brought it to our attention it was immediately removed. He was also contacted by our General Manager regarding his concerns and never responded |

They sent two different sized boots in one box. Then they sent an open box replacement boot that had a broken footbed. They refused to replace or help with warranty service on the second boot with defective footbed despite the fact that Technica requires dealers to do so. I suspect they are not authorized dealers for some of their products. Retailer Response (05/22/2009): Customer was mistakenly sent incorrect boot in first shipment. Was sent correct boots in replacement after we paid to have incorrect pair sent back to us. Correct boots were expedited in order to arrive to customer in time for ski trip. Customer skied on boots once, and contacted us to say that the boot board arrived damaged to him. We agreed to warranty the footboard, but Tecnica requested we have the customer contact them directly to get an RA number for the boots. We never received confirmation from Tecnica or Customer regarding RA for boots. If customer still would like us to take care of warranty we are more than willing to help once they contact Tecnica and receive the RA#. We are an authorized Tecnica Dealer, and receive all of our product directly from Tecnica. |

The prices of o2gearshop can't be beat. I ordered a pair of Volkl skis. They were out of the model I ordered and they gave me a free upgrade to a current, more advanced, model. Delivery was exactly when promised. I would highly recommend them. |

Don't order from them. They take your money out that day and they never have the item in stock. I waited a week for them to finally contact me and they told me they weren't getting in the product I paid for. They hung up on me. They wasted my time and used my money. Shop somewhere else. Retailer Response (05/22/2009): Customer ordered a pair of skis that were mistakenly listed on our site. They had been sold out, and were not taken down off the site by mistake. We attempted to special order those skis from Volkl, and after searching multiple vendors and Volkl, the skis still came back as unavailable. We contacted customer after exhausting all options, and offered to cancel and refund order immediately so she could hopefully purchase those skis elsewhere. Customer was refunded immediately, and order was cancelled. |

Worst online experience in memory. Ordered from them because their price was competitive and web-site seemed professional. That's where the good experience ended. Charged card immediately even though product was not in stock. After waiting 10 business days, order was still "processing". Tried to call - phone system was either being "upgraded" or busy. They replied to 1 in 4 customer service emails. Finally was told that wrong skis were shipped. Order is cancelled. Still waiting for my money and I have the credit card company after them. Buyer beware! |

We ordered a jacket for our daughter from this store. We recieved a confimation e-mail and my card was charged. It has been 11 days and the order is still proccessing. I have tried e-mailing them multiple times and still no response. I have tried calling and all we get is a recorded message and no return call. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
