OneAkela - (April 17, 2009) I downloaded the latest software from the Sony website, which claims that it is compatible with 64-bit Vista. However, after installing the software and connecting the recorder, it says that the driver needs to be installed. However, it cannot find driver files! Sony told me that driver files are not needed as the device has native Vista support. So why does it ask for a driver to be installed???

5 Star Review Olympus LS-10 PCM 2GB Digital Voice Recorder = Just buy it,and try it!

pilote - (September 01, 2008) I bought this unit from zzounds.com and, as always, have been very happy with their service. I selected this unit after careful comparison with many other "hand-held" units. (Korg, Sony, Teac, Yamaha, Zoom, Marantz, Edirol/Roland, Tascam, etc.) I picked it due to many advantages: AA (rechargeable or regular) battery power with long-life. Optional AC adaptor. Built in speakers. Internal 2GB memory AND an SD card slot. (No hard drive, no hard drive noise, or shock concerns.) Great specs, frequency response, sampling rates. Solid design, metal housing. I had it in my shirt pocket, bent over and it fell out onto the asphalt. A few scratches and pits, but no denting or broken

htchen76 - (July 24, 2008) It is very easy to install. I do not use fax too much and this one fits my need very well. Cheap and compact. The quality is ok. Nowdays laser all in one should be better but then will be much more expensive. so for selfuse, this one is a good choice as you can get with some discount.

2 Star Review Acroprint wears out too soon

hyde2001 - (09/28/2009) The innards consist of levers, cams, and gears, One cam rotates every 60 seconds, pressing down on a lever that rips a gear that rotates the minute hand. That lever develops a groove over time and stops moving far enough to trip the gear. This process may take a few of years, but, once it happens, the hands stop moving. You can order spare parts on the web and fix it, but a "heavy duty" time clock should be made of stronger metal so this wouldn't happen at all. The ribbon is short and needs replacing too often, too. We've had this thing for several years and, other than these complaints, it does what it is supposed to do. I probably won't fix it again and will try something else.
