Highly integrated Office tools help transfering data and graphics between programs very simple. It's almost necessary for people who do presentation or training on a regular basis.
Microsoft's monopoly makes it quite expensive to obtain, unless your company is willing to pay for it of course.
Posted Nov 3, 2004 - For most everyday users, there's not much difference between Office 2003 and Office XP, or even Office 2000. The reasons that I got it is because it's the most recent Office release and it's compatible with Windows XP. I did ran into a bug during installation of the Business Contact Manager. It complained about "not enough space in drive C:" due to the installer miscalculating the available disk space. While the solution provided by Microsoft's support site doesn't work, I did find a solution from Gateway's support site. I just need to add ~107MB of data onto my hard disk and everything went smoothly.
