Fairly low light level, 3 watts, as stated.

Posted Nov 5, 2004 - Got package at Best Buy, as indicated on the site. They only had one unit. Purchased it, receiving the usual Best Buy push to purchase a service contract (on a $30 item??). Unit is as advertised. Seems to work just fine.

Posted Dec 1, 2007 - The Sima SL-9 3 Watt Compact Video Light is a handy light which I use on my Canon XH-A1 camcorder. It fits right onto the accessory shoe hookup of my camcorder. It has it's own rechargeable batteries and charger and throws enough light for doing soft portrait images of your subject. For it's price the SL-9 is very good. Highly recommended.
