jason586 - (April 27, 2007) The machine is overall a great product for the price. You do get several stitches to choose from, foot attachment, and several embroidery designs that are easy to select and look great when everything is done right. It is a wonderful machine for someone just starting out like myself. I have used a high-end brother embroidery machine at a baby boutique that I use to work at, and this SE270D is not as forgiving when it come to the thread and bobbin tension. I also found that the bobbin winding is really no good when it comes to the embroidery. I had to go ahead and purchase some prewound bobbins so that the bobbin tension would be correct for the embroidery and the design to turn out nice. Ag

snocoach - (07/08/2008) strength: 1. each surface has it's own function. 2. buttons are big enough to press for baby 3. great combination function weakness: 1. baby can drop it on his foot with it's edge. 2. sound it not loud enough

surferkev - (06/09/2008) I bought this as a gift for my 1 year old and he absolutely loves it. You can have anywhere from 1 instrument (solo) play to all 5 instruments (orchestra) play the song at the same time. The 6 inch cube is not big or heavy for the baby to handle and is pleasing to the eye. Comes with 3 AA batteries.

samantha007 - (12/26/2007) My kid was bored with opening presents until we opened this one. He went for it immediately, loves the lights and sounds and pressing all the buttons. Unlike most toys for this age group, this really doesn't have much educational value. But maybe that's the fun in it. I like how the little wiggly figures spin around and he tries to knock them off.
