harinair - (October 01, 2004) This is a terrible battery and I am writing this review to let you know that it is a mistake to replace this. I did that mistake by buying 2 batteries at $10 each and they also did not work. This battery uses the 80s technology NiCd (3.6 V 850mAh) which is insufficient of today's phones. Instead of investing money on this by the Energizer NiMH replacement ER-P511 which has 3.6 V 1200 mAh. I hope this review is helpful.

pmhager - (January 11, 2005) Directed Electronics is one of the biggest names in car audio/security. They manufacture python, viper, wasp, and a host of other systems. The viper 791vx is the flagship two way remote start and security system. As a self made expert in the field I can tell you with car audio/secruity you always get what you pay for. Go to best buy and buy a codealarm system and you will pay 150. Buy this system at a great price and get one taht actually works. First of all this system is one of few on teh market that uses FM to communicate with your vehicle. AM just has too much on it these days and if you want to start your car from inside your house/work/apartment and not standing next to your car,

tchristian - (November 15, 2004) Because the Terk has only audio cables and no video cables it did not process the video and there were picture distortions, however there is a product out there called the Automatic TV Sound Regulator that I purchased that works perfectly and synscs the audio with the video for distortion free viewing.

haiku09 - (07/09/2009) In case you're having trouble finding your manual, the lamp is located in front of your set. You have to remove two panels and the lamp is right there. Unscrew and replace the lamp and panels, no problem. The lamp was delivered in a box suspended between two sheets of plastic to minimize shock and shipped in a bigger box surrounded by packing peanuts. I opted for 2-day delivery and it stalled over the weekend (tracking was available). I probably would have received it in the same amount of time with ground delivery. Even with 2-day delivery, we saved $50 over the local store pick-up price. It took 4 years for that lamp to burn out, we'll see how long this replacement lasts.

Lumbylj - (03/01/2009) Had installed in 96 Explorer in Dec 2005 & have never needed to replace the battery. Purse was stolen with keys so I need to purchase a replacement fob. Buying a replacement kit is cheap enough without having to a whole new one installed - just program the fob. I live in Texas so it's great to be able to cool down the car before you get in it. All my friends are jealous.

janets99 - (01/20/2009) Replaced battery and remounted outdoor sensor, to no avail. Now have just an expensive compass.Would not buy this, due to total lack of support from supplier on the warranty, pni corp.
