5 Star Review IMIC USB Audio Interface

sjonke - (July 17, 2003) The iMic has always performed well for me. I haven't extensively used the microphone jack, but I have used the input jack for a long time in both in home and now car environments (now that I have a car stereo with an auxiliary input). It particularly shines in the car - if I use my PowerBook's built-in headphone jack I get a shaky/crackly connection as things move around and vibrate, while I get a consistent and solid connection when going through the iMic. In combination with the Mac OS X shareware software "Detour" I can automatically pipe audio programs such as iTunes and DVD Player through the iMic (and thus to my stereo) at full volume (effectively line level), while sending everythi

seanrmc - (September 07, 2004) Upon first opening the box, I have to say I was expecting a larger, heavier unit…the thing is only 9" x 1.5" x 5.25" and weighs 1.5 lbs. While the outputs are reasonable including both composite (rca) and s--video, as well as a digital coaxial output for sound, it would have been nice to include component video. The remote is faily straight-forward offering cell-phonesque numeric-key text entry. The layout of the select button should however be switched with the menu button (the menu button is located below the directional pad that you use for navigating and the select is off the left side which is quite annoying and a thumb's stretch away). I installed the latest software on my lap

jlewin - (June 18, 2003) ProTools systems cast upwards of 10,000 and keeping that in mind digidesign's little M Box with the included ProTools LE software, make's a great entry level protools system. I've used it on both Mac and PC and it has never hiccuped. IT's USB powered, so no need for those annoying wall warts or line bumps. This ProTools LE system is so well designed that you can even take your files to a big studio and it will intregrate seamlessly with their pro ProTools rigs. Great for songwriters, adequate for mixing up to 24 audio tracks and 122 midi tracks. The M box can satisfy one's creative urges without a huge expense

5 Star Review Excellent Vista Media Center Remote - Plug N Play

Warren in Socal - (10/27/2008) I've been using this for a few months now, and it works great. The USB receiver was instantly recognized by Vista Media Center and I was up and running in a few minutes. The layout is very similar to most cable company remotes , or a Sony TV remote, so its very easy to get used to it fast. The build quality is very solid and I've already dropped it a few times, without the battery cover flying apart like some other cable company cheapy remotes. You should definitely buy this if you need a remote to control your Vista Media Center.

5 Star Review Very nice keyboard

educris - (09/30/2008) I bought this keyboard for my wife that has some music knowledge but no piano expertise. She uses it as a new hobby and she really enjoys it. It's great for a person that is just learning because you do not need to buy a whole piano! She was able to play some nice music using the included software. Black and white music keys are perfect for my computer environment. Installation had no problem with XP. It is a good product for the price.

4 Star Review reasonably good and space-saving midi computer keyboard combo

sphingo - (09/29/2008) If you want to get a good toy for a kid (or adult alike) who likes music and playing on computer it's a perfect match. It's not good for a person though who wants to play or compose music on somewhat adcanced or professional level. The functionality is limited for that purpose. You might also run into problem if the computer you intend to use it on runs MS Vista, but works fine with XP.
