windowsxper - (January 18, 2006) I bought the original Mr. Coffee iced tea model, the TM1, when it first came out, probably more than 20 years ago. There was a period when it didn't get a lot of use, because of the poor water quality in the area, but I went back to using it regularly and was very satisfied with it. I was still using the original pitcher, although it definitely was showing signs of its age. The acids naturally found in tea seem to have etched the pitcher over the last 10 years of regular use, and the pitcher has developed the appearance of minute cracks in the plastic (acrylic?). These cracks don't leak at all, it's just the appearance of tiny lines of less than 1/8th" completely surrounding the bo

cpelosi - (November 21, 2004) I have been wanting to purchase an ice cream maker for as long as I remember and I finally took the plunge! After researching the different ice cream makers on the market I took a chance and bought this one. The container the ice cream is made in is double-walled and filled with a liquid. You need to put this in your freezer long enough that when you shake it the liquid is completely frozen and no sloshing sounds are heard. Do not remove this from the freezer until all of your ingredients are ready and it speeds up the freezing process if the ingredients are pre-chilled in the refrigerator. Put the frozen container on the machine, pour in the ingredients, start the machine and... wait

pictureclicker - (June 21, 2006) After throwing away several less expensive, cheaply made ice cream freezers, I was elated to receive this freezer for father's day. From the very first batch, it has consistently produced the best ice cream we have ever made. It is easy to operate, easy to assemble, easy to clean, and in addition to it's good looks, the pine bucket does a superb job of insulating the super-cold brine, so your ice lasts longer. while freezing, you can feel the outside of the pine tub, and it is cool, but not cold. It really keeps the cold close to the cream. I am able to fully harden or "ripen" our ice cream before eating it..right inside the White Mountain freezer using the enclosed instructions. Our old fre
sirgenius - (11/27/2009) I bought this freezer in May 09 and it quit on Nov 09. It just can't hold up with weekly use. I can't find the maker's number or web-site if anyone has a suggestion.

cheridawson - (10/07/2009) We have now had two in a year. The first one just stopped working. No lights, no heat. The second one is similar. I was making waffles this weekend, and it stopped heating. Light is on, but no heat. This is very frustrating! I also bought it at a store that went out of business, so not sure if I can get it covered. Will call Waring.

evecarol - (09/01/2009) This is the 3rd iced tea maker that I have had in 6 years. I am so disappointed in the plastic pot because they become weak and break so easily. They are not diswater safe and are hard to clean. We have technology to go to the moon but these poorly made plastic pots just keep on breaking. Postage is highway robbery so I will do without beause I am a senior citizen on a fixed income
