WGPhaneuf - (November 16, 2005) I use a swappable hard drive for my C: and D:. Norton SystemWorks 2006 GoBack module infects the MBR of all drives (I have 3 extra drives) such that no other (non-GoBack) O/S's will see the partitions. Uninstalling Systemworks failed to completely remove GoBack from two of the drives thus destroying their respective partition tables. I never even got to evaluate the rest of the product.

iNNoVaSioN - (October 23, 2005) This is by far the worst Systemworks yet. It really doesn't have any new useful features than the Systemworks Professional 2004 I was using and will be using instead. It actually has less features (no Professional version of Ghost or Anti-Virus Professional) than prior versions and yet they call it Premier? I have been upgrading every version since 2000 and will not be buying another until Symantec stops gouging customers with lackluster products. They also should include Internet Security in the package if they want to call it Systemworks.

dr_ed - (January 17, 2004) I've used this product for over a year to produce my patient notes. I like it because it is very accurate and the accuracy increases with use. IBM's tech support was very good but they have apparantly sold that to Scansoft. That leaves much to be desired. This product is not compatible with Office 2003 or any of its components. Scansoft did not see fit to test it with the new office products. They will charge you $9.95 to tell you that. And, they refuse to tell you that on their website! They have no plans for a patch. Apparantly, ViaVoice macros are incompatable with Office 2003. If you're going to use this with other Microsoft software it is a very, very good choice. But, if you plan to up

1 Star Review PCMover - A Virus

wcdunn - (04/02/2009) PCMover is more like a virus than what it claims to be. It has infected two of our computers and both are now completely disabled. Only a Masochist should buy it. Only a Sadist should sell it.

1 Star Review PC Mover

SashaBug - (03/09/2009) I never write up comments, but I'm super pissed off that I spent $69.99 on a product that doesn't do what it says it's supposed to do. Plenty of disclaimers through set up that alert you to this fact, and twice I shut down the installation of the software. I should have listened to my "gut" instinct, and taken this piece of crap software back to the store! Don't waste your money!

3 Star Review Basic DVD Authoring Software

mnn55 - (01/31/2009) I got this software to upgrade the OEM version that had come with my DVD burner. The price was just the tax and the hassle of mailing in the rebate. The rebate came through quickly though. I use the software just for basic DVD burning and viewing and it works fine on my old Pentium 4 machine. There are more advanced software out there but they probably would consume too much resources on my old PC.
