Okay, I guess I'm only limited to 1000 characters so I'll abbreviate. DO NOT BUY FROM PC PROGRESS! THEY SELL REFURBISHED EQUIPMENT UNDER THE GUISE OF BEING NEW. If you are someone who likes to visit the postal carrier to return shipments, don't mind paying return shipping costs and restocking fees to a SCAM company go ahead and take your chances with your order. I don't want to hear I'm sorry, must have been a mistake. I want what I ordered and get it. This happens way too much with these companies. By the way the gist of my order is: I ordered what I thought was a new Maxtor harddrive only to receive it with no mounting hardware, no installation disk and on the top of the HD it indicated "REFURBISHED TO MAXTORS SPECIFICATIONS" WHY DOES PC PROGRESS HAVE SUCH A HIGH RATING?! REMOVE THEM FROM YOUR LIST, PRICEGRABBER, UNLESS YOU ARE GETTING CUTBACKS!! One more thing, I emailed them concerning this, but as with all scam companies, I have not heard back from them. |

Dishonest online store. Would never order from them again unless it was the only place that had something. Then I would rethink the plan and maybe change something to keep from ordering from them again.
Nov 12 I placed an order for a processor (not a used processor) and a tube of arctic silver. After 5 days of no contact with a shipping conformation I emailed their billing support and got a message back from them saying that they had shipped it that day. On the 22nd of November I got an official shipping conformation saying that it shipped out that day. It only took a couple days to get it once it shipped. It was a used processor and never would have paid that for a used processor. There was nothing on the site that said it was a used processor. When the package arrived they didn't include the arctic silver. I just asked for a refund for that and they eventually credited my account. I would never order from them again. Not so good prices on a used processor. Retailer Response (12/20/2006): Our website clearly states that this item is a \"Pull\" and the word pull is highlighted and is underlined as a link. If you click on the link it will give you a definition of what a pull means. We did in fact credit the customers account for non receipt of the artic silver. We are certainly sorry that the artic silver was not sent with the original order as this was an inadvertent mistake. |

Waiting to receive it! is only a 1 GB memory stick, but i purchased before from this merchant and it was fast, the procesosr arrives earlier on time i expected. Cheap products too. Thanks pcprogress. |
