Strengths: This PDA has just about everything from a built in camera to a easy to use "jog dial" which lets you scroll through and select the menu items without useing the styls. The turning screen is also usefull.
Weakness: The MP3 fles do not load easyly for some reason, must be the encryption. It only has 16mb memory,but you can use memory stick media, Which is not inculded.
The backlight and the high resolution 340 by 480 screen show crisp clean images for a pda. It is a bit pricey but it was worth it due to the turning sreen, built in camera, and personal sounds along with other use functions and features you cant find on other pdas. I like the remote control for the mp3 function as well. It is a bit heavy, at 8.0 ounces, but I like the solid feel. Unlike the brittle all-plastic feel of the Plam Zire 71. I the AV function is nice to have on a pda though I don't use it often because runs down the battery and I need that for other things.

TopStrengths: Incredible versatility- it is a spycam with camcorder capability, standard Palm with all 4 major organizer functions (contrary to the guy who said that it did not have memo pad!), game machine, etc.
Weakness: Some of the software that comes with it is super-unfriendly but hey I just deleted most of that stuff anyway. I give it 5 stars- the review preview falsely says I gave it only 4 though.
Imagine a machine that will keep you from being bored WHEREVER YOU GO FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, no matter what line you are in waiting for, whatever. Imagine that anywhere you go, if you happen to see a building explode or someone rams your car you can tape it, all with a tiny organizer that also balances your checkbook, displays family photos & movies, plays MP3s and remote-controls your VCR too. I have an e-map of my city and can download color maps for any city I'm going to. I download & read ebooks and write reports with it that sync to my computer, whereever I go. BUY it! You won't regret it.

I mess around with stuff all the time and I think I broke mine! But some how I'll fix it. It makes me mad that this could happen when all I was doing was loading pictures of the girl I love. I LOVE HOPIE!!!!!!

Weakness: When scanning the image appeares flattened, But for the size this is very tolorable
I was a bit leary about buying something with so many moving parts. But when put throught the paces it functioned flawlessly even at 100 meters under water.
Also remeber this item has far more features than advertised. GET ONE NOW. Its the best PDA ever

Weakness: The stylus will not stay in the holder. I think there is a magnet that is supposed to hold it inThe fact that it faces down makes it easy to fall out of the CLIE.
Overall, I really nice product. Just need to find a way for the stylus to stay in the holder when you put it in there.

Sony CLIE PEG-NR70V Handheld
Strengths: Palm O/S, IR beam transfer, sony movie trailer review ability.
Weakness: software, keyboard, camera, transfer ability
Not very ergonomic. I find the keyboard too small. If you have avg. to large fingers, this device is not for you. The keyboard takes time to figure out for different features. I get a little annoyed at having to turn and flip the screen for almost every use. The screen is nice, but not great, like I keep reading. The camera, is not very good. I compared this camera to a Sony DCS-50 that I have and the quality on the PDA is poor at best. The images are usually dark. They are typically out of focus when their is depth involved in the photo. There is no way to adjust the quality of the photo. The photo suite that comes with it is inadequate. When transferring to a my PC, I find the quality just as bad and not worth the time to improve. The photos can be nothing more than useful for recognition purposes. I miss having the notepad that comes with Palm PDA's. I assumed that that feature came with it, it does not. I found that feature on the Palm PDA's to be quite useful, the ability to scratch or draw out a note or drawing and save it. I do like the Palm O/S in the Clie. It it easy to beam back and forth items and applications to each device. I cannot tell you about the MP3 abilities in that I have been unsuccessful so far in being able to download or transfer music. The tones sound nice. I saw Movie trailers on it,but I see no real use for this. The screen is too small to see any detail.
