For the price I would not recommend this product

Weaknesses: Quality-after 2nd day sound began to pop and crackle with some buzzing noice. This is a well known problem by other owners...

After 2nd day of use sound began to pop and crackle with some buzzing noise. For the price this is a risky product to purchase. To me Sharp is better known for 2nd rate products. Google for reviews before buying this.

I, too, have experienced periodic crackling sounds with this Aquos 46" LCD TV. I've had the TV for 3 weeks and noticed the sounds almost immediately. The TV had good reviews but beware. A Google search with the words "Aquos" and "crackling" shows others having this problem. I wonder - is this common to all LCDs or just the Aquos?
