TIME FOR A RECALL !

Strengths: When it worked, great HD picture.

Weaknesses: Sound quality, intermitent picture loss, remote clumsy to handle.

I purchased NEW from BEST BUY in July 2006. BY June 2007 the picture began to dissapear, but I still had sound. The data also didnt appear on the screen - channel number and volume data, so it had something to do with what ever powers the screen.

Even so, I had the Cable Co came out, tested lines - they were 5x5.

Sharp sent a technician out, whom replaced several componenets inside the set to no avail, it still had the same issues. NO PICTURE !

In Sept 2007 - Sharp replaced the set with a remanufactured one, but refused to give me another 1 yr warranty on this one ! WHY NOT ?

Now some 5 months later, and THIS REPLACEMENT SET IS DOING THE SAME THING.

I see some posts here stating how wonderful the set is, but they have ONLY HAD THEIR AQUOS TWO DAYS BEFORE POSTING THEIR COMMMENTS ! Therefore, they can hardly speak from experience........
