LC37D62U
Easy setup. Great picture quality. Plenty of inputs.
Weaknesses: It runs rather warm. When used, headset jack doesn’t cut off the speakers, so what’s the use? No PIP. However, you may be able to get PIP through an HD DVR from your cable provider.
Posted Sep 14, 2007 - This LC37D62U TV is well worth the money. Analog programs, as you would suspect, have the least picture quality, but it’s o.k. Digital programming is much better. But HD is just plain jaw dropping gorgeous! All HD content is stunning regardless if its sports, news, or the Tonight Show. Football games, holy cow, it’s like being in the stadium—beautiful. I found that component cables do just as good a job on this set as HDMI cables. I bought the HDMI cable and the picture quality was exactly the same using the generic component cables that came with the HD cable box from Brighthouse. So save your money unless you desire the convenience of 1 HDMI cable versus 5 component/audio cables. This TV is not really hard to set up. I have kept most of the factory setting. Overall, I’m very happy with this set. I have this set in my bedroom but I also own the Sharp Aquos LC-52D92U 52" LCD TV for my living room.
