high Pitched Whistle sound coming from TV - Bought it in 2/08

Posted 1 year ago - The high pitched noise.... It just started in September (had tv for 6 months). I did not buy a refurbished TV. The noise starts up after an hour and a half. It becomes really annoying. I don't know how I am going to proceed with getting this fixed through the vendor. Any suggestions?

Sound problems

Posted May 15, 2008 - I purchased this unit in Dec '07 and was very happy with the quality of the picture. After a couple of months I noticed that it would make a whistling sound after the unit had been on for about 45 min. You could turn the volume down, but it didn't affect the noise. You would have to unplug and reset the unit. Then after 45 min, it would start all over again. I finally got tired of this and called for service. On 5/1/08 I made the claim. It is still sitting at the shop, not fixed, nor can they tell me anything. I'm am very disappointed with Samsung's way of service.

Samsung LN-T3253H-32

Posted Jan 18, 2008 - I purchased this TV Sep.'07. When placed on the stand it tilts to the left. Electronics company I was sent to by Samsung said it has a design flaw in that all of the interior components are situated on the left side of the TV. Have been dealing with Co. for three months with no resolution. Sent from one person to another with no decision maker available. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TV unless you are putting it on the wall. Company has conceded to me that their is a problem with this TV.

Posted Jan 18, 2008 - Strong buy for anyone looking for a 32" LCD. The picture quaility is great. The contrast is also a strong buy consideration. I am happy so far. Very sleek design to make your room more stylish.

HD receiver is to see

Posted Dec 4, 2007 - TV it was replacing (26 in. RCA 8 yrs old). I then took the TV upstairs where my HD receiver is to see how the HD picture quality was. It was a lot better. But did not come close to matching the clarity of my 34in. Sony XBR tube TV (3 yrs old 200 lbs.) . I have done a lot of research on this model, even went to three different stores to see it on display. Of course they always have those things running on some HD channel or a Blue-Ray disc. All in all, I`m pretty happy with the TV, I just expected better picture quality from the S-video.

Dymaic, and standard

Posted Dec 4, 2007 - Small and appealing, the Olympus E-410 brings memories of days gone by, when SLRs were small, mechanical, and manual. But the E-410 is capable of both full auto and manual, and its 10 megapixel Live MOS sensor and optical design are quite advanced. The E-410's 14-42mm lens is sharper than the average consumer digital SLR, and it's just a little smaller, too. Its specially designed sensor is capable of delivering a live image to the Olympus E-410's 2.5 inch LCD. Called Live View, this mode simulates what you experience with a digicam, but with a few catches along the way. The E-410 unfortunately lacks the sensor-shift image stabilization of the Olympus E-510, and its grip doesn't well support accessories

Cablevision-picture mode

Posted Nov 13, 2007 - i just brought this tv like 2 weeks ago.. i have cablevison box hook up to compment part 1.. then it works well..their are 3 picture mode : Movie, Dymaic, and standard.. when i adjust the picture for exmaple Cool 1 then brightness 80. then it perfect picture .. but later on like 30 min later it went back to reset format.. every time i change the adjustment.. it goes back to setting as the tv it was.. all picture mode too.. what went wrong? mark

Supurb LCD TV

Posted Nov 4, 2007 - I love the easy switching capability (a button on the remote) from cable to off air antenna. With a single, extending pole antenna I am able to get local HD signals even clearer than on the cable.

Samsung LN-T3253H 32'' LCD TV

Posted Oct 11, 2007 - I bought this to use as a monitor for my notebook PC and as a HDTV in the bedroom. I have a larger 40" Samsung 4061 model in the living room and this 3253 is it's little brother. It has nearly all the features - 3 HDMI inputs, 2 antenna inputs, white balance adjustments, etc. It works great at a PC resolution of 1360x768 thru HDMI1..just make sure your video card or onboard video supports that size. This little jewel is easily calibrated to 6500K and gamma 2.2 so it can be used as a reference monitor.

good buy

Posted Sep 17, 2007 - Lots of people have reported the sound and tearing problems, but those problems can be fix by a firmware update from samsung. SD picture are average. But who watch a SD signal after you buy a hdtv.

Great

Posted Sep 13, 2007 - I would highly recommend this LCD TV for those who are looking for a "starter" LCD HDTV or a second HDTV for their home. Samsung makes the best LCD TVs (as reviews on other websites will attest to as well), and the availability of ports on this TV are great. I've hooked up my Wii to it and my laptop as well. With that and standard cable, this TV is now my entertainment hub.

Great TV!

Posted Aug 12, 2007 - Here is the deal. The picture quality of this TV is very nice, and you cannot go wrong with 3 HDMI ports. I am using all of them! One is being used with my DISH HD satellite receiver. Another one is being used with my Phillips Home Theater surround sound system. The final one I use is with my Macbook. I plug in a mini-DVI to DVI adapter (at Apple store for 20 bucks), then a DVI to HDMI cable that I bought at Amazon for about 15 bucks. The TV has great functionality, with many different settings you can adjust to your preference. I suggest you look at CNET.com's review of this TV- it is one of the highest rated HD LCD TV's reviewed. [..] Hope this helps

Posted Aug 7, 2007 - This is a great TV for HD TV, movies and games. All of them show clear sharp and great contrast. I would highly recommend this TV to anyone. I purchased the TV from Butterfly Photo and the deal went as planned.

Great TV and PC monitor, but a dust magnet

Posted Aug 6, 2007 - Probably the most amazing thing about this is how sharp it is in PC monitor mode using native WXGA resolution. In the past I had ignored LCDs due to problem with viewing from an angle but the newer models completely eliminate that problem. I was a little surprised that it uses about as much power as my old Hitachi Plasma but it is significantly brighter. And it does not generate as much heat. Would have been nice to have a DVI connector for my cable STB but I guess the adaptor is fine. The Cable HD channels look superb. It does take a little while to find a signal when changing inputs and it would have been nice to have a button on the remote for each input rather than having to cycle through them. The controls on the unit itself are touch-sensitive which is not my preference. But these are all minor grievances from my part and others will have different viewpoints.

Outstanding 32

Posted Jul 30, 2007 - The LN-T3253H model was our best choice 32" LCD when comparing quality with price! We previously had a 32" Samsung DynaFlat TV that weighed a hefty 200+ pounds and was huge, but also had great quality. My wife and I decided to open up the living room a bit and go with a slimmer 32" LCD. After looking around at Sony, Sharp and LG... this LCD looked great frame wise and the picture quality was outstanding. Not to mention, the price was second to none! We found the best price on PriceGrabber with a trusted retailer (Butterfly Photo) and got a great deal and SUPER fast shipping! We ordered the TV and received a follow up call (asking if I needed cables or an extended warranty, in which I politely declined) and was told it would be shipped in 2 days. Well, it was actually shipped THAT day and arrived the day they said it would be shipped! Nice! So far we love it! It looks great in our living room and has great quality (even using non HDTV devices). We can't wait to take advantage of the HD in the near future! There's really not much to complain about, and the setup was a breeze. One note, if you do plan to use the RGB component cables, make sure you adjust the color settings on your device and/or the the TV. Enjoy!
