I recently purchased this LCD on sale at Fry's for $599.99 +tax to compliment my recent purchase of a Playstation 3. All I can really say is wow. I should have switched to HD sooner. It's not as "ugly" as the cheaper no name brands and it provides about the same quality performance as the more expensive ones. The remote is easy to learn and has big, easy to push buttons. The on-screen menu has many features you can adjust to fit your visual needs. If you're looking for a 32" LCD HDTV, this is the one you should get. Also, on a related note, I have several Panasonic products and not one of them has failed on me yet, including my $2800 DVX100B 24p camcorder.

TopStrengths: Great PQ, sleek, simple design, 5 viewing modes, 2 HDMI, many modes, and easy to setup.
Weakness: Menu interface is kind of difficult to navigate, 8ms response time, no VGA/DVI, does not stand out, inputs on the back, remote is weak.
Panasonic is not known for their LCDs because they make a few of them, but I enjoyed the one I bought. When watching movies, the picture quality is great. Everything is so lifelike in HD except in standard definition. Standard definition could be better. I wish it had a faster response time, because I do see some lag in some games like BioShock on the XBOX360. There are no PC inputs to allow you to hook up a latop or PC to it, and it bothers me when the inputs are on the back of the TV. It makes it harder to connect/disconnect the cables when the TV is mounted to the wall. For the price, I think the LCD is a great pickup for college students.

TopStrengths: Beatiful picture quality, easy-to-use remote, nice energy-saving automatic shut-off feature, perfect fit for our 32 inch entertainment center.
Weakness: Sound quality could be better, but still not bad.
Our family has purchased Panasonic TVs for over a decade, mainly for their superb picture quality in comparison to many other brands. The TC-32LX70 is our very first HDTV and once again Panasonic has not disappointed. We bought the set through Sears.com no-interest for 2 years sale on their last day for under $1000. Extremely easy setup and instructions allowed for viewing within minutes. Although the sound quality distorts a little at very high volumes, it is not a major problem. We hooked up our stereo system to it and that basically solves that minor sound problem when you want to crank up the volume. The TC-32LX70 is highly recommended!

TopStrengths: Reliabilty/quality construction, competitive crisp/bright picture, sound clearness/transparency, solid/well designed remote, ease of use, auto shutoff when remote hasn't been used for 3 hrs feature.
Weakness: Sound loudness, no pc input, base doesn't rotate, one component input, fewer picture/sound adjustments than others, traditional bulky design may seem dated, not for techno geeks/style followers.
While several other LCDs have had issues with dead pixels, picture banding, cloudy dark scenes, buzzing speakers, sound cutting out, etc. I've never heard of any issues with Panasonic HDTVs.
The Panasonic remote is also very substantial with easy to use larger buttons.
Panasonic front firing speakers aren't subject to the muddled sound which is typical of indirect, hidden speakers. Sound very clear and transparent with good source positioning, but not as loud as most other competitors.
Price wasn't the cheapest, but below the industry average for a manufacturer with a rock solid reputation.
I started out considering Toshiba and Samsung, but for a bedroom set which wont have seperate speakers and because I was concerned about receiving a lemon with an internet bought set, opted to go with Panasonic.

The Panasonic TC-32LX70 high-def television I bought through BuyDig.com gets a 5-star thumbs-up from me. Clarity is superb and color depth is excellent in a good-looking contemporary cabinet. Lack of PIP is completely inconsequential to me -- I've never used it on any previous television that had it. Size was a very important consideration -- the cabinet on this Panasonic was among the narrowest of the 13 sets I investigated. This Panasonic's online price was well below competitors I considered.

So far I have had no problems. Picture quality with Direct tv is great. No dead pixels. Has a strong tuner and many inputs. I am thinking of getting another already. Panasonic makes great products> 1 star off for not having pip nothing is perfect.

Weakness: The remote control is not sensitive and cannot turn the TV base.
I bought this Panasonic TC-32LX70 TV for several weeks. It is my very first HDTV and I am very satisfied. It’s stylish and has very crystal, vivid picture, the sound is ok, and however, I got my own stereo system. It's not a big problem to me. The frame of TV is not shining, this is the only thing I really don't like, and I definitely will recommend it to my friends if they want to buy HDTVs.

I bought this TV in July 2007. So far I can say that it has ok quality and there is nothing special. There are other brands are availbe at cheaper price and with better quality. THis is an average LCD tv in its class

Received my new TV yesterday. Easy set-up, excellent picture, good sound, clarity is excellent, price even better. I previously checked out the competitors and am thrilled that I chose the Panasonic. I would highly recommend this Panasonic Model TC-32LX70.

The HD picture was great with component cables. It is much better with a HDMI cable (Panasonic RP-CDHG15). The standard channels come in much better also. The picture mode can be adjusted from standard, cinema, custom, and vivid. That is all I adjust.

A worthwhile, reliable LCD-TV
Strengths: Excellent viewing at any angle with a 7000:1 contast ratio, 16:9 Widescreen with a 1080p Display.
Weakness: The audio is average, but certainly adequate.
This 32" Panasonic LCD-TV is well worth the price. The screen is crisp and clear. The color and black levels are far better than other TVs I have seen. I have done many comparisons and found this flat panel to be the best for the price. The set up was right out of the box with no additional cables needed. It does not get any better than the quality from Panasonic. The company continues to provide excellent products that last for years.
