Strengths:automatic brightness control, plenty of inputs (HDMI, too), appearance, easy set up despite difficult to read documentation
Weaknesses:a little slow to tune in stations when channel surfing, no clock, speakers are so-so
Posted Dec 5, 2007 - I pulled in my local Sears parking lot at 1AM on Black Friday to get their deal on this set and it was definitely worth the hassle. The set was really easy to set up with the onscreen menus, but the user's manual is pretty cumbersome, and there is no quick setup sheet. Over the air HD channels look great and the automatic brightness control works great, too. Some people have complained about the size of the remote (it's pretty big), but it fits your hand pretty good and it's easy to feel out the buttons that you need. Initially, I hated the sound from the speakers, then I wised up and backed the set all the way up to the wall (I'm using the included stand) and it made a dramatic difference in the sound quality. The sound isn't fantastic, but it's good now. I'd go camp out in the parking lot again for this TV, it's worth it.
