Great 26" LCD

Posted May 14, 2008 - This is a great compact LCD TV. The colors seem to jump off the screen. Perfect size for hanging on our kitchen wall. We looked at several LCD's in this size range and felt that for the price, this one was the best.

Outstanding Television / Picture Quality

Posted May 11, 2008 - The LN26A450 television is one of the best purchases I have made in quit some time. The picture quality is flawless with high contrast and amazingly sharp colors over the entire picture. I can't find anything bad to say about the picture at all. The television casing itself is very ascetically pleasing. The outer edges are a shiny piano black and look great. These smooth edges make the bright picture pop out that much more. I would recommend this television to anyone who is looking for high quality for value. Granted one could buy a cheaper 26in television, but not for this type of quality.

Great TV

Posted May 5, 2008 - I believe this model is the updated version of the LN-T2653H which is a great set also. This unit has a few upgrades so do a side by side comparison. The only cosmetic change is moving the speakers from the front firing position at the bottom to where they are located at the bottom also but fire straight down. The move doesn't seem to have any impact on the sound dispersal. This is an excellent lcd tv with a great picture and you can get it at a great price (about $50 less than the LN-T2653)

Problem started just after 1 year

Posted 5 months ago - I bought this TV 1 year ago. (1 year and 2 weeks to be exact). From yesterday, it started turning on and off every 3 to 5 seconds of its own. I called Samsung support and they said that it is just outside the warranty. They say that it is not a common issue. (Search for ‘Samsung TV on and off’ in Google and you will see hundreds of users having the same issue.) I regret that I didn’t read the reviews before I bought this TV.

Excellent TV

Posted May 7, 2008 - Just buy it, you won't be disappointed. I use it with an HD antenna and let me tell you that every channel just looks perfect I could even say better than the picture I get through Direct TV.

Posted May 5, 2008 - Love it.....Just what we were looking for. Light and easy to move any location. Excellent picture and sound. We will more that likely get another one at a future date just large.

Good TV

Posted 1 year ago - It is a good looking TV when I open the box. The picture quality is very good as well. We use this TV as a computer monitor. It is very good. We did not test the HD programs yet. For the regular channels, the pictures are just ok. It is a very good choice, if you want to buy a TV for your dorm or small bedroom.

Buyer Beware

Posted 1 month ago - I have a 26" samsung LCD TV model #LN26a450c1d and after 14 months it quit working. I called Samsung and they told me since it was out of warranty there was nothing they could do. I did a little research and from what i could gather they have had problems in the past with capacitors blowing out.
