Panasonic 42" Plasma TV

Discussion of Panasonic 42" Plasma TV

Posted Dec 22, 2005 - I bought for 1595 from Visual Apex. The unit is available here at PriceGrabber for about $1500 net, but the smartest online shoppers spend a bit more to get the best buying experience. I'm sure some of the other retailers are fine, but remember: "The race isn't always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, but that's certainly the way to bet."

Discussion of Panasonic 42" Plasma TV

Posted Dec 22, 2005 - There's nothing wrong with saying you had a good buying experience with Visual Apex. A plasma tv like this represents one of the biggest "over the internet" purchases any of us will ever make. We want to be ASSURED that it's going to be a good experience with a reputable company. Reviews like this convinced me to use Visual Apex and, for the hundred bucks difference between them and the lowest price, it was a no-brainer. I highly recommend them. Now, I got an electronic component for $279 (well, I'm waiting for the third one to arrive) from a low priced vendor and have learned that they aren't an authorized dealer so the warranty is no good; I'm out of pocket $30 on shipping so far, plus the original purchase price (which included shipping) and still don't have an operational unit. My advice for buying online is, read the product reviews closely, but read the vendor reviews EVEN MORE CLOSELY.
