4 Star Review It works!

Strengths:

No static or clicking noises like other Bluetooth devices. No wires from headset nor wires connected to iPod. (unlike the A120s). Easy to pair with stereo headsets.

Weaknesses:

None: Just a small minorgripe - No support for mono headsets.

Posted 1 year ago - It a great way to enable Bluetooth stereo on an iPod. My only small gripe is that it only supports A2DP and AVRCP profiles only so it does not work with mono headsets (not a big deal but it's nice to be able to do so). It even has it's own battery so it doesn't drain your iPod's battery!

4 Star Review Handy!

Strengths:

small

Weaknesses:

doesn't allow use of protective case over the ipod (because of the need to plug into the jack)

Posted Apr 30, 2008 - Although it makes the device larger, and more bulky, I can live with that in exchange for the ability to avoid a swinging cord by my side. I miss the ability to put my ipod in its protective case, with beltloop, but I can use a fanny pack or large pocket instead.

4 Star Review Works great with my Motorala S9

Strengths:

No wires!

Weaknesses:

Signal strength

Posted Apr 17, 2008 - I use this with my S9 headset when working out. The signal strength goes about 30 to 40 feet. Wish it would go 50 feet. Otherwise works great! I can adjust volume and go through my songs with my headset that is connected to the iPod.

1 Star Review Jabra A125s Bluetooth iPod Adapter

Strengths:

Nice concept

Weaknesses:

Doesn't really work

Posted Mar 4, 2008 - The Jabra A125s Bluetooth iPod Adapter hooks to the iPod dock connector and wireless stream music through bluetooth. It's a nice concept for sure, since iPod still doesn't support this natively. However, the quality is very bad. I have frequently disconnects, averaging about 3 times per song. So at the end, it's just another fancy but useless gadget. Overall, I think bluetooth stereo is not mature. I have experienced with manage bluetooth stereo dongles, transmitters, headsets. And all of them have some problems. So I suggest wait for a couple of years before spending your hard earned money.

4 Star Review Jabra Bluetooth Ipod adapter A125s

Strengths:

- Relatively small - Easy to install - Syncs with Bt620s and does not produce static sound

Weaknesses:

- known to last for a shorter time than the headset (not sure) - bulges out of ipod. - sometimes the song's tune sounds a bit flat or sharp

Posted Feb 24, 2008 - I could sync it with my bt620s and its perfect. Since the device itself is powered by its own charged power source, it doesn't drain the ipod battery like the first itrips that came out a long time ago. I am still learning from it, but its a great device.
