Strengths: Bluetooth connects easily. The keyboard feels like a laptop keyboard. Shortcuts make it possible to use many functions without resorting to the use of the stylus.
Weakness: The IPAQ pullout holder feels fragile and neither my IPAQ 4100 series or 2700 series fits securely.
- No softcase provided
There are still sometimes it is necessary to use the stylus
This keyboard makes it possible for me to leave my laptop home on business trips and, for the first time, work comfortably while flying on cramped jets. Without having a laptop, the trip through airport security is far faster and simpler.
Because it folds into a slender and compact package, I can carry both the keyboard and handheld in my small waist purse.
Since I haven't used it yet on a trip, I can't comment on how sturdy or shock-resistant it may be.
I can say that it has the touch and feel of a decent laptop keyboard, especially when placed on a flat surface. With bluetooth, the key response is more than acceptable.

I think that use of the keyboard will be banned on most airline flights because it is a radio transmitting device.

1) Is HP FA287A Bluetooth foldable QWERTY-keyboard compatible with PCs? So is it a standard Bluetooth HIDD profile device?
2) What kind of battery does it use?
